For Sale TE630 ECU - New Discussion in 'Classifieds' started by peteSD, Yesterday at 11:01 PM. I saw some one was looking for this, not sure if this was the thread or not.
My dealer has hooked a wide band up and rode it with an on board display. I don't remember the exact number but I'd guess 13.2 or so. JD or the Power Commander guys have probably got the info from Dyno runs.
Normal,I was just checking fo the guys that had put dyno time in to see what these bikes liked. I hav one of my street bikes that likes it lean (13.8 afr) for peak power. On I beat I am at 124 low 118 medium and 130 high and bunch of miles trying different settings with VP VPR fuel. No JD or PCV. I weigh 290# and it comes up in second and you could not before if you put a jack under the front!
Just had my 630 cans ''flow through modded'' by RDTCU , they came out great and they sound glorious . I cant see why anyone would spend $1000 for a system . Thanks RDTCU !
What settings for JD Tuner would you advise on using for the following : 2009 610 Injection Sea Level Leo Vince End Can Power Up Plug I'm not the best rider but when you guys talk about power wheelies, do you still need to roll off then on the throttle while pulling up ? It woulldn't just come up on its own accord ? Cheers Gav
Can't guess what settings you need, but my 630 will power up the front at any RPM in 1st with just more throttle. I can get it up in 2nd with a quick off-on and a little jerk on the bars. Much easier / more consistent just to sit back and clutch it up though. This is with a 15/38 setup though, so I'm sure it would be much more jumpy with a different ratio...
I have an 09 610 w/ LV x 3, PU kit, carbon filter gone, EHS filter mod 4.25x4.25, iridium plug and JD tuner.
I've done the following mods to the bike : LV x 3 End Can : Spark Arrestor and DB Killer are fitted PU plug / Lambda eliminator (Husky brought) JD Tuner Throttle stop removed Carbon filter junk removed Still yet to modify the airbox, which is the next on my list. Are the Iridium plugs much better ? What difference do they make. Thanks for your advice guys!
Hi all, I have decided to sell my powercommander V. I have all the pieces I never used most of them as I just did a temporary install to see how I liked it. Over all I think they are a great tool if you have access to a wideband or dyno. They are just not accessible within 100 miles of my location. I had access to an innovate wideband when I bought the powercommander however I did not do a quality control check of the equipment prior to my purchase. The kit is missing a lot of parts, it was in a co workers shop and someone has taken everything but the scanner. I tried many tunes with good luck but I feel like there are a few rich and lean areas that my seat o the pants dyno has not been able to tune out.
