If you ride them hard get a JD Jetting kit. And while you wait for the kit put the GAY needle at position 5 to avoid a seize.

Thanks, I got the JD jet kit. It comes with a 32.5 pj to replace the stock 45! pj in the 2014.

You could also try the DEY needle, Husky PN 8B00H1785. It has a steeper midrange taper than the GAY, so you're probably less likely to pop a motor (as wait4me is presumably concerned about).

I'd like to discontinue my account
Now having 2 lectron bikes and a buddy with one we both agreed putting that carb on is the first thing we will ever put on another bike, even before a pipe. For me and the guys I know running them its the best thing since sliced bread as they say. Its a bunch of money but its worth it to me for all the benifits ..just my 2cents.

Im trying out the DEY needle with a 35 pilot, as suggested by Kyle T. Thanks.
I'll let y'all know how my bike runs..when I get it back together haha. Race prep for 2014...commencing! image.jpg image.jpg

Looks like your PC Works pipe is not rusting up on ya. How do you like it? Did you get it with the PC Factory Sound 304 silencer? They're a good deal out on eBay. Did it remove any low end power?

I ran a Kearney works pipe on last year. It was a factory pipe from his bike but powdercoated black. That thing looks like it went thru an IED blast.
The new one I got is the pipe you mentioned and I got it for a little better than what theyre going for on ebay. Its holding up pretty good. I spray it down with silicone spray and hit it with a fine steel wool to keep it from rusting. Low end feels great. I am playing with my jetting at the moment to try and refine the bottom end. I wont ever get that KTM smoothness with the stock carb but we'll see what happens.

On the pipe protection deal.....I picked up some clear automotive exhaust heat spray from Advance Auto and sprayed my sons bare pipe on his TM and it's holding up like new for a year now.
