thats a great shot but... I know what your doing here, if we see enough bergs we will be comfortable with the transition right?
Haha, making up for all the ones you deleted. No, I didn't even realize it was a berg til I posted it. Motosports.com posted that to me on Google+. That is a good idea though, I'll bring it up at the next Husky board meeting.
The thought of the up coming Hooskaberg's (Husqvarna's) make me think of banjo music, if you know what I mean. Poor 'ole Berg is getting the business by Husky. To bad they both cant stick around. OK, now back to the goofyneess.
Or is it Husky giving it to Hoosky? If my stories are true, there were quite a few conversations between Tom and Stefan, one in particular posing a request to "do something different" with the new husky line.
Yes please. All new identity would be fine with me. Stickered up Bergs would be disappointing. I know they are great bikes but I want something new damit Then it will feel more like husky is getting a new life and not a makeover. - At the very least copy the x-light frame geometry and linkage system... PLEASE!
Agree. Toss in a nicer wiring loom and better oil management / accessibility and bam, super nice bike.
The KTM 350 that was with us this last weekend would hardy start at elevation when hot. I could kick my 165 and be gone while he was still working on it. The 310s feel lighter, handle better and have more bottom end than the KTM 350. Both very good bikes. Just don't want to loose the good attributes of the X-lights.
I ride with a lot of KTM guys and see it quite a bit. Buddy brought a 250SX to Idaho City ISDE and did not get to ride the first day as his bike would not start. Turned out to be a fouled spark plug... on a EFI 4 stroke!!! I guess this is semi common with the KTMs. If it starts cold and dies right away it can foul the plug. They even pulled the bike for miles trying to start it. the KTM350 in question is usually a good starting bike but at 7000 feet and 90 degrees not so much. Valves were just checked. Not bashing KTM just stating facts as I witness them. My 511 have never come close to not starting (knock on wood) and is an eager starter. Still has the stock battery!
