You sir, are there so much you need to start answering the e-mails and phone so he can get things done.
Ok 25 more ready to ship. Price is $239.00+shipping and tax if in Ca. I have a 1 year guarentee,None if hooked up backwards on the wires will SMOKE it like right now. Bulb life around 20,000 Hours. Your BLUE to my Black=Ground. Your White to my White= Hot, Hi on switch. Or your Black to My White=Hot, Lo on switch. Reason for the extra length of wire is you have an extension cord for the light. Not everyone rides a Husky so when they break down just pop off Hd lite now it's a work light. Just wrap it around module and a couple zip ties and it's good. Later George
From what I'm seeing about LEDs, 9 watts might be close to 70 watts of normal incandescent. http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/02/led_bulb_replac.php Stock headlights are 35w. I think. So LED, maybe not as much light as HID units but low pull and long life. big LED light http://www.magnalight.com/pc-1968-1...t--4800-lumens--6-inch-round--stud-mount.aspx
I can not for the life of me figure out why you would ask for a comparison. Just how long do you think it will take someone to do that? Just messing with you brother. I'll see you tomorrow George.
I'd like to see a comparison between the LED and the Lynx. One of you's should go out and buy every possible light to do this for me I think before I have to commit to a light.
I got George's light today. Pretty bright. We took a lot of pics to demonstrate removal of old light and mounting of new. Simple, probably the second one you do could be done in 10 minutes. Doubles as a work light as it has a 3 foot + connection wire just for that purpose.
Well, I was there with Mr. glangston when he got his, George and I had one hooked up to one of the bikes earlier and were shinning it around in the shop. During mid day you could see it was bright as all get out. I had to have one also however I will not get to officially ride with it at night for a couple of weeks because my seats are off getting a make over. However, I do plan on putting on my bike tonight and will do a comparison shot with the camera for all to see. Since Mr. glang doesn't have the stock one on anymore. I may try it out. Stay tuned, if I can get it done i'll show it off.
Man that is awesome! I really want one but I'm torn since I ride it on the street a little. Damn! Anyone plan on street riding with this thing?
I am going to run the street a little with it. There are so many other bright/white lights on cars, trucks and motorcycles that I think unless you point at the LEO, you would be ok. You can adjust it down by shimming the top straps of the fairing. I think you would be good. Now, when George gets the other light together you may need to reconsider the street riding.
hey, Palmer, thanks for doing that comparison. I don't often stay up late enough to do a night time test......:snore:
He's out stalking Bamby with his new lite, trying to fill out his tag before the season opens. Later George
