I'm about to put on a set of SM wheels to my TE250 that I've got for guess what?? 300 USD with tires, chain, sprockets, rotors, wheels and hubs, a gift.. I think they are not so good(brand or anything) but, is a steal I could not resist in order to do my experiment on the SuMo world.. I will post a pic maybe this weekend to get your opinions on the transformer LOL.. its summer time here and I want to be able to ride my bike on the street, not only at trials/mountains :-)

    The bike looks great!
A friend of mine, who is an amateur supermoto racer, said that he used them in those races in which it was compulsory to have road legal tyres and that they perform like slick racing tyres.

So, I bought the bike. [IMG]

Got it home, and looks like the PU Kit was done since there's no O2 sensor or throttle block.

Bought with 1058mi on it, 1k service was done and valves checked/adjusted (so seller assured).

    Issues--

    1) Bike came with DDM HID kit, blown bulb, cracked at the base--I could not find a replacement bulb outside of re-purchasing the entire kit, so I pulled all the old HID kit out and put a 35w H4 in there just to get passed by state inspection so I could title/register it. I'm swapping to an LED kit/bulb instead of the HID as the ballast and the rest of the DDM kit were too intrusive for my tastes and at 5yrs old their reliability is suspect.

    2) rode it 8mi to 1066 and the clutch quit working, lever was wet and looks like the seal on the hydraulics is gone, opened the reservoir and nearly all fluid is gone. I was near an Autozone so I put generic clutch fluid/brake fluid in since I needed to limp home and no Magura mineral oil likely to be found as there's no dealer within 5hrs of me and I had to get back to work asap.
--Is there a rebuild kit, or a way to get a new seal or O-ring if that's the case?
--Or should I try to find a used one and swap to something like a Brembo setup that KTM has?

    3) How can I tell if it's in P/U "Race 2" mode, does it note it in the power up cycle on the dash?

Finally got the TE converted. The original chassis was a bit of a basket case so still many details to go through.

Cool you have selected Husky, it look nice

I use in that clutch Castrol front fork fluid 10W, it is working good.
I was bleed the system like this. That lower nipple, near that engine, in there low. But some right size hose whit cable tie, then put some big syringe(take that piston/inner thing off, before install syringe that hose)
then i was put that syringe and cable tie it, then pour that fluid in that syringe and put that piston (what you called it) inner thing inside and push, it is hard, you need power, but also you need make it slow, not spray every place that fluid, also you need open that Magura clutch tank, before do this, also cover those fuel plastic panel...

    Here is some topic
    http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/parts-for-magura-hydraulic-clutch.15848/

    http://100moto.com.au/brands/Magura.html?page=1&sort=featured

Take that part number and ask there...I dont remember, also you can try find in that last link, there is for Husqvarna parts.
If that Magura will leak after fix that, test that repair kit, that is not very expensice, but if that will leak again, then i would buy Brembro clutch unit, i had that issue in one, also it looks like this other leaks little, i would guess there is some coating "problem".

At that P/U issue, if that is in "fullpowermode" then it is...That mean P/U kit is certainly in using. Ok, it should show in that dash "race 2", but there was sometime showing "race2" fail, "race1", etc, etc.Not sure what that was meaning, but my bike was working great and stock cylinder was ok, no popping, nothing, i was only had that P/U kit on and trust that the bike is working just right.
My dash will today show "race2" or "race1", fail in both section, it dipends. But i have now 530cc kit+exhaust+adjusted PCV, so i dont have worries.
I would say if that bike not popping, stall any, it is fine.

I hope this helps and that text is readable and understandable...

Sorry OT, this was pic topic
