the bead blast likely makes it impossible to remove, barring a failure of the product. nice work!

Left case painted with KBS. I will come back and spray it black.
Got all threads cleaned out with tap then cleaned it good In purple power.
Looks like a Honda CR case!
I will come back then and do all my gasket surfaces, etc...

That's beautiful. Do you heat the parts before you paint? I have a little oven that I preheat the parts first, then apply paint that I've warmed in a bath and after heating them to dry I get similar results.

Here is other case after I did all bearing, gasket and bushing insert areas.

All I have to do is hand sand this case, hit with high build primer. Some spot putty in bad pitted areas. Then final paint.

You need to try this stuff. Brush it on, and self leveling so u don't see brush marks. Real thick on second coat.
I used this stuff on car frames and had to turn my sandblaster up to 150 psi to get it off.
Ha! I got this stuff on my hands and arms in spots, so has to wear off.

i did some flooring work for a few years...mostly grind and polishing concrete flooring, but some with applying epoxy coatings.
i can believe the part about the sandblaster, the floor grinder was often the only way to remove the coating other than the mobile shot blaster. that shot blaster was a beast that could bore a hole right through a floor quicker than you would think it could!

it was nasty! once you mixed the 2 parts you had about 20 mins to work!
i liked grind and polish much better..kind of looked like terazzo or kitchen/bathroom countertop. amazing what you can do to a concrete slab. then add in some dye! wish i had pics on this pc..

If had some of that stuff done on properties at work. Truly amazing what can be done now.
