Bold move I just made but I already painted the whole head Burgandy with shiney fin tips. I did not like it solid. So this just hit me.......

So I did this bold move.

I think it brings out the fins I modified.

I love the look of the burgundy. Looks classy, like a luxury vehicle...that's gonna get dirty.

I have a burgundy 430CR tank held in reserve for one of my build. It will be a works bike that Husqvarna never built.

i got this one with a kicker and shifter..the sight glass is a nice upgrade. the kicker is very close to that of the 87-88 bikes, which works well on the dual shockers. here it is as received

Since Husqvarna went to the new swept up radiator shrouds I have never liked the look of them.......until now!
That looks sensational! I had a 2006 TE450 that I just didn't like the look of, but if it looked like that I would still have it.

I like the gold, but I run white walls on my Panhead too. It goes good with the gold forks & gold reservoirs. I'm sure there are lots of people who would think it's to blingy / pretty. I get the same reaction with my white walls but most people like it, they just don't say it. The burgundy kind of gets lost. Doesn't "pop" like the gold. I like "pop".

    Ok good point.

Me! I like the gold. So prob going with gold head and keep burgundy lettering.

Well looks like I am going to get a new metal lathe and milling machine.
