yall know me. ima caveman, aint into image and stuff, dont hang out on the interweb either- fer obvious reasons, cept fer here cuz i like yall, a bunch! so- fwiw.... i've used bites in racing XC and other dealios. they work. esp after my last crash when i got crushed darn near to death. took a while to learn to walk again. i aint PC or any of that other stuff but, if it works? i say use it, screw what anyone else thinks. dare to play different too! esp if ya can back it up. ive been humiliated by older faster riders on clunkers. i do know one thing about human nature- we're social animals and most are looking for an edge/to improve their performance. image is everything to coporate, and, being accepted by the masses means a lot to most individuals. why else would "they" do, wear or say some the weridarsed crap they do?! staying true to your core vaules, keeping with your mission statement and trying to please the masses that are not in the know must be an incredible challange, rob. keep up the good work man. stay positive and keep them eyes on the prize cuz you and i know 99% of stuff ya read on the web is poop from keyboard commandosthat know sqaut. tell the scoffers: "the pros use it, so should you!"
Both of my kids have tried wearing mouth guards while playing basketball and both had trouble breathing. I don't have the experience to know if a different mouth guard would not have this problem but I'm reluctant to spend $100 for something they would not want to keep wearing. As far as marketing, why not add some bling to your guards? Make some that look like "bubba teeth" or gold rapper teeth or some other design that would make kids want to wear them.
