I'me over 60 now and am getting really tired of sad people who see the negative side of statements.
It's a reflection of what's going on in their minds.

I thought he was talking about clothes .

Hey Guys, sorry that I have not posted any more pics. Been super busy here, I did manage to put on some new grips and paint that darn kick stand but I may have to move the spring bracket on the side stand tho ? I used a mid eighty's stand so it's a little longer but the bike don't lean as much. Seems like the last few things always drag on any project.

    Don't fu*n yell at me.
You guys go off like pork chops at something some one has written which could have been very innocent making complete fools of your selves and showing the world how tiny your minds are then you yell at me when it's pointed out.
    Pis* off.

I posted that big as it was resolved and now is back up and were talking about it again. Sorry, did not mean for you to think I was yelling at you just wanted people to read it so we can get over it and talk about the bike. I dont need to be called a fool, pork chop or small minded either, thanks.

Can we move on now please?

The rims just need some white and red pin stripes to give them that classic look.

Well, I am working on the head light now (brainstorming) I think I am going with a wagner 4.5 inch light but I need to make a holding ring for it . I may be on to something. lol

im also working on a headlight for one of these...if you still have the original round reflector, the 3 tabs can be removed. it seems they are just glued on. i used the long mount screws to keep bending them back and forth...after awhile they will come off nicely. now i just need to figure out what reflector to use. im wanting to use led so i can get decent lights with the motoplat..

84 I have been wondering if I like those rims or not and I've just come across some pictures of myself in my youth.
Headbanger/Black Sabbath , now they call them Goths.
You know dressed in black , very dark.
Went on to become an engine re-conditioner and did not like pulling down old diesels , the oil will not wash off you know.
Yes black does look better on those rims than it did on me.

Stole some bark busters off a parts bike I had, bbuster1.jpg
they fit pretty good for free...
    bbuster2.jpg
just enough room for the bracket , so it won't hit the wide tank. Keep this in mind if you decide to get some for yours.
    cable1.jpg
So this is another thing I been brainstorming on , the guide bracket for the brake cable.

Here it is all cut out and the upper hole is tapped out to a 1/2inch pipe thread , that way when it wallers the plastic bushing out I can just replace it with another.
    photo (46).JPG
Just a close up after some more shaping, now comes the clean up.
    photo (47).JPG
Gott'er all cleaned up and you can see the replacable bushing.
    photo (48).JPG

Here it is on the bike I just need to find a plastic sheath for the cable , not sure if I am going to cut a hole in the lite housing yet or not?

Side shot , fit really nice (little beefy tho)
    photo (43).JPG
So here is what I came up with for the light ,made some stainless
brackets to hold the light around the small lip on the edge of the glass. Went to auto parts store and bought a light for 11 bucks. (sure beats 120 dollars)
    litebracket.jpg
Here is the light and brackets , it is a 4.5 inch regular motocycle light or tractor light.
    photo (51).JPG
Just need that dam cable sheath (plastic tubing) . Believe it or not I still have not even started the thing yet. (soon tho)

Get some plastic electrical spiral wrap for the brake line. That stuff comes in different colors & you don't have to slide it onto the hose, just wrap it. I've used it in the past.

That bike looks well tasty,i just want to take her deep into the woods
An give her a good long hard ride.
Love the home mods even better when they end up better than the
Cheap plastic ones on the market.
