    Sweet!

How does the seat feel? Any better than what has been offered for the last few years by Husky on the 510s and below? ...

So how long between con rods, cam chains etc?
Is this bike going to cost a lot to maintain over the longtime?
    Thanks.

Does the new motor have a counter-balancer in the TE version? What RPM is the rev limiter at? How many R's at 65 mph in 6th gear? Took kit provided and where is it stored?

I just got a hour meter / RPM meter from Trailtech, cool little unit.

easy counter balancer, revs to much at 65. needs geared up but will easily tolerate a taller first so it should not be a big deal.

The bike is Siiiiiiiiiiiiick!!! I even like the front fender, it matches the back and looks very unique and modern.
I'm was fine with the bikes I have, but now??? You're killing me with this new one lmao.
Trying not spend more $$ for a new bike right now...I can't look anymore....
(do you have any more pics?)
Glad to hear the cts is awesome -it would have to be.
Kelly, thanks for being a pioneer.

Do you have any installation advice? I have the Trail Tech TTO hour meter/tach, and I failed utterly to get it to work with the stick coil on my TC449. IF you have a picture, that would be even better!

    TIA!

Just a big thanks to all members, especially motorsportz, for all the info and reviews on the te511. Finally bought one after much consideration and comparisons to the ktm500 I had test ridden. And after a few hundred km in deep Aussie bush, I love it. Does everything people said it would, rides awesome, the finish is great and frankly makes me a better rider. Cheers.

    • +1 for an EXCELLENT review Kelly. All of the details that you mention from the overall design of the bike down to the performance and characteristics of the engine, power delivery, shifting, suspension, etc. are worlds better than most magazine reviews. I very much enjoy reading your reviews as they are quite entertaining but most of all very educating and in layman's terms. I wouldn't be surprised if you were a professional motorbike journalist...

Sign yourself up. Collate the tests you've already done, do some more on the bikes you've ridden over the years and get a hold of your buddies new bikes...old vs new comparo's etc etc.

Add a BIKE TEST section to your new website

haha funny... but i'm more than happy with my heavily discounted 2014 TE511 at just under $7000 with FMF exhaust and Warp 9 SM wheelset all Brand New BTW. Just waiting for it to arrive at the dealer since hes been selling them superfast. It's actually my 1st new bike purchase ever let alone a husky. LOL
