She learned in the Womb.... When her mom was carrying her, she was riding a quad (only God knows why), and a similar thing happened. Her mom bailed before going over the hill, lol.
Yeah she does, I'll just have to be careful to ease her into it again. She was already a little afraid of hills, I'm sure this didn't help, lol. She grew up around quads and stuff, so it isnt a brand new thing to her. I think she'll be alright after a few rides.
Haha - crashing is an art... im kidding, but I'm somewhat serious. There is a skill to crashing, and the only way to get good at it is by crashing a lot... and let me tell you - I'm a master of crashing.
I'd say that is good ... But I'd be really careful and let her be sure when and where she wants back on board again ...(I've seen more that one rider here stop after 1 crash)
Her parents have a camp near Ohio that is perfect for getting her feet wet again. She'll feel comfortable up there. I hope she doesn't quit, but I'd understand if she did. If nothing else, we have a battle tested quad laying around that we can rely on for when when the zombie-pocalypse hits.
True ... I'm always looking at my crash-landing zone before I start any cool motorcycle move ... If my crash zones look a little rough to me .... the cool level is kept below average ...
Smart girl. It takes guts to jump off a moving vehicle. Did that quad bike fall all the way down the cliff...? Amazing. She's got a great story to tell..! Thanks for posting..I love good endings.
thanks for the concern guys. she hasn't ridden yet (mostly because she hasnt had a chance to), but the quad did go out for the first time 2 weeks ago. It rode like nothing ever happened!
Sorry to hear about your loss of the quad (not that I like quads all that much). Just wish I´d had the chance of sticking my wife to one before the divorce.
