• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

National H&H Round 1 Johnson Valley

Funny comments on that board. We often have races here where only half finished. Usually because they set it up when its nice out then the rain comes and its a whole new course. All good / everyone races the same course.

George Jackman and Ty Davis - FC450.

We (ZipTyRacing) are actually a separate entity from Team Husqvarna (I have been asked to clarify this point). We were able to share their pit in order to service Justin's race bike during the event which we were very thankful for. Ty and I have isolated the issue with the new Husky's and worked on a solution today.

Race team secrets,, lots of teams that represent don't say too much...until its dialed or nothing if there was a prep issue. Im sure we will see/hear updates.
PS I'm am so glad you guys picked Justin up, he's fast, he's safe, gets bikes to the finish and is an all around calm nice guy! He's just been tearing up the local and Baja stuff glad he has some good backing with ZipTy Racing on a good bike for Nat level stuff (WORCS, NHHA, etc), nothing like the race at a high level with top tier guy as an R&D test bed.

PS Gary Sutherlin ZipTy support --rock section pass EPIC LINE CHOICE!!! 1-30
Justin Morgan ZipTy Racing Husky @ 2-02
Jake Argubright Husky USA 911 @ 3-09
Ajax Ajax Husky/ ZipTy Support@ 3-30

You guys know I have always been a pathway for information between ZipTyRacing and the Husqvarna community and I would like to continue to be here and keep you up to date when cleared to do so. But I also have much respect Team Husqvarna and their privacy in these matters.

that am viddy was painful. ya gotta roll a little faster or just get hammered like those dudes.

357 Ricky with Mark K at the finish

Gary is a great rider, ballsy. He had a really efficient pit crew with Danny from ZipTyRacing. They were completely separate from Ty's crew.

Only reason I asked again was incase my original post was missed since I didn't quote anyone. I don't care to bash New Husky's, just more of a what was learned kind of thing. I get it though. Good news is, atleast his bike didn't flatten out like Dungeys with the whole world to see it :). On the plus side, I had no idea who Argubright was (haven't ever followed offroad to closely) but I'm really excited to keep up with NHHA this season. The next round is going to be a podium ;).

Oh and Tinken, tell Andy to pluck some cash off KTM's tree and get Argubright a damn helmet cam :)

Hello Everyone! Tough weekend, but Husqvarna will be back on top at the next round in two weeks. Ill give you some insight as to what happened tho since i know everyone is wondering. I had a great jump on the husky and about half mile in the bike started bogging down. I thought it was vapor locking so i pulled the vent hose and pushed down the dry break. Wasn't the case. I had done something to my fuel line. Not sure I should say anymore... for now at least but it was my fault. In the heat of the moment i pushed it back and grabbed my practice bike switched fender cards, stabilizer and filled it with gas and i was off... again! Made it back up all the way to 11th to try and at least get some points and at the finish they told me i would be DQed. Apparently switching frames once the race has started is frowned upon! Guess i should of thought of that before i took off but oh well on to the next one!

Here is some pictures that Kinney Jones took of me on Saturday.
