Just wanted to say "thanks" for even making stuff for our Huskys
I appreciate your efforts!
me too, good looking stuff is hard to find for Husqvarnas
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!

If your putting something on your bike it should be lighter, better and look good rather than there.

Wow!! Did this thread go off course. Look guy's this is a product intro, nothing more. Not meant to be a debate on the gradual decline of society or the negative affects that commercialization is having on our nations youth.
It's an oil filter cover... that's it. Meant to make your oil changes a little easier. If us putting our name on our product is that big of a deal then take a sharpie and mark it out, or better yet don't buy one. Everything we buy has the manufacturers name or logo on it. When is the last time anyone bought a pair of nike shoes without a swoosh, or a chevy without the bowtie on the grill, a big mac without the big yellow M or a new husky without the gun sight logo? We make products we are proud of and we put our name on them so we can get a little recognition for our efforts. I can't count the number of times a customer has called and said he saw one of our products on another bike, liked it and lo and behold our name was right there so he could remember when he got home. If none of our stuff had our name on it then we most likely would not still be here, and there would be no product intro at all.
As for the "logo" its self? This is just our name. The actual 7602 logo is much larger, and I felt would get an even colder reception. We have gone through several previous designs and logos on previous products and all the negative nancies came out to protest. So we now use the least obtrusive and least noticeable design possible while still getting our name on our product.
Someone else suggested the sharpie. I thought they gave a good response.Off course? Your post above has taken us off course mopre than any others. I only asked if this product was available without the logo. After that a few posted their personal preferences on having a mfr logo on their aftermarket bling, that's it. No negative Nancy here just letting you know why I will not be buying your product. Cover over the logo with a sharpie, sshish that's ridiculous for you to even suggest.
BTW plenty of products come without a logo. I just recently purchased three items from TourTech and all are without a logo. Plenty more TE630 parts available from them without a logo also. Now granted they are no Nike or Chevy but probably are the largest aftermarket motorcycle parts company in the world. Or do like FMF and others, affix quality metalized stickers so the consumer has the choice to leave on or remove.
In closing I do say thank you for supporting our bike with accessories but by posting on this open forum you should be receptive to everybody's opinions and comments regarding your products. Why not take these comments constructively? Why not offer this cover without any anodizing or logo? That would actually save you money. Or why not simply answer "currently this product is only offered in anodized black or red with logo" period. Your response was not very professional. Sorry if the truth hurts.

I think evil corporations put their logos on stuff to make us think it's them, but it's not, and they spend their huge profits on black helicopters. But yeah, I'm buying one anyway.I can't even believe this conversation continues. The Col. makes quality parts for our bikes that are better than stock and offer a bling factor. If they don't appeal to you, don't buy them.
Next we will be dicussing conspiracy theories, black helicopters and evil corporations?
Just my .02
It's on their website down by the little credit card logosI didn't see a price. Is the cover interchangeable with 610/630?
Ordered mine as a Christmas gift for the wife about 4 weeks ago. Sure hope it comes soon. Ordered stuff two years ago for my wife's other bike, very nice items.
Ordered mine this week, as long as it gets here for spring I'm happy !Thanks for the order. It should make it there by christmas. For some reason the Canadian post is probably the slowest that we deal with. Many times customers in Australia get their orders faster than in Canada.
