I've been looking at 4 door EcoBoosts as well. Used though. I have not bought a new truck since my '05 Silverado. Trucks have gone up in price a tad. Geesh!
The truck has 3 power modes. Normal (Driving), Tow/Haul, and Sport. Sport drastically changes the shift points and a bunch of other things in the truck. It's shockingly fast for such a small engine in such a big truck.
I have a '13 and love it. It's not even technically mine since its my work truck. I read a lot of scary stuff about the Ecoboost having weird lag issues when needed most. I went for the new 5.0 CoyoteV8 and it's a beast. I get 20/22 highway, 15 city, and 18mpg avg with mixed highway, twisty road and off road mix.
