Difficult to see how you've finished this but the next step should be make sure the exposed top edge of the metal baseplate is not a sharp edge. Either fold the metal over to create a smooth curve, or find some rubber moulding to cover any sharp edge. Any sharp metal edge will cut straight through riding gear, and you. I had an accident on a bike with a screen made of plastic with a sharpish edge and it cut through denim jeans and through my leg down to the bone.
Thanks for the warning mate but it's made with PS Impact (now a days. all cars are made of plastic http://www.insht.es/InshtWeb/Contenidos/Documentacion/FichasTecnicas/Plasticos/Ficheros/FT_2_1_B.pdf )
Nice job, where did get this/find product? Maybe this is just another form Polystyrene comes in! Anyhow, Looking at the height, the four bolts should cope easily with the extra stress.
Thanks mate I get four sheets from the car front fender of a Renault. I taked it form the trash. Maybe i could attach a "T plate" of aluminiun to give more stiffness to the structure
Finally I 've attached the KTM windshield Today it's raining here in Cadiz, Spain so i hope it works well
Just make sure you get a well shielded one. That's pretty close to the dash, and could interfere with the immobilizer
Heyyyyyyyyyy Santi tell us how it is running KTM higher position! OEM higher position plus 8cm original bolts still not enaugh for long trips.
