I bought the terra for what it is, not what it should be or can be, I've got klx 250 to go mental with off road, just sold my BMW r1100 gs that I took off road to buy the last of the air cooled 1200GSA, then I've got the BMW r1150gs that I take around Europe, I'm just looking forward to the summer to take the terra out in the hills or around Scotland mybe the lakes before I go next year to Russia, its interesting reading some of people's expectations of the bike and disappointments, other than the fact it has a dead spot when you first twist the throttle, I like the bike for what it is

Don't twist the throttle as hard and it pulls good, too much and it will bog a bit. That has been my experience at least. All about finesse.

I did the Eruption Mod. No bog, no off idle roughness, no stalls. All good.

Could you tell me what is eruption mode, don't know if I've lived a sheltered life, is this a plug in chip or remap of the ecu.
