The final race of the year out there is the weekend before so that is a great date.....my birthday too, Coffee's and ?? The last few years we've seen dry, cold, snow, maybe we get a mist of rain this year on the last weekend of October!! I will update the guide and post a link so the new peeps can find us.
Millican odot pit campground is 6 inch deep silt. Just looking at it gets you dirty! At 25 Your more secluded and allot more trails are readily available, plus tree's for shade and wind break. And as far as the Birthday 100 miler You might consider Chesley's Challenge. It's a 53 mile loop with many technical obstacles along the way! At the end You'll feel like You've gone a hundred miles! Also each year here in central Oregon has been getting warmer, not as much snow as We got years ago! (It doesn't mean We couldn't get slammed!!!)
