Oops, lost the front wheel pic?? also the NOS airfilter element and the headlight...lot happening inside what I thought was a tiny light assembly.. there is a husky like shroud with a numberplate that goes over that 1950's light

front end was next

the rear end and that ^&*&^%$ brake light switch..fiddly little 8mm bolts recessed into the back of the airbox and the lock nuts fought every turn on bolts that were too long grrrr
Sad looking Corte and Cosso shocker there....

so pretty much a bare frame now...stay tuned

the handlebars look almost as good as that filter! looks like its in pretty decent shape tho, considering these are rare.

the old Steve Cramer Products bars...always buy them somewhere on a weekend....after you bent yours in the first 10 mins of a big ride..

they are too big and the clamps and lever perches were all stuck on tight! considering its sat outside for 10 + years its in good condition. I have some new bits for it so will come up nice..

More progress pics! This is a great project, I know its not a Husky but still worthy of a build post regardless.

What a stunning acquisition - a real Moto Villa, and right here in Oz - WOW. I will keep watch.

no..its in the container again...got to clean the husky airfilter, fix the broken chain tensioner, make a new lower chain roller and get the taillight working....mv will be otbb for a while

If you didn't ride so fast you wouldn't break those bits.......

landscaping close to completion, although the front end loader has "icecream on its lips" but pretty much the back fence to do and then some spare time!!

Got to attack the forks the other nite, they came apart nicely considering they were pretty corroded. not too much h2o in the sliders tc.

have planned to get them to a hard chrome who specializes in muddaboik forks.

disassembly...

Both damper rod bolts came out nicely and the rest of the disassembly was pretty easy. the corrosion around the top of the sliders wire brushed off pretty easily and the circlips over the forks also removed nicely.

Interesting damper rod arrangement.... the "other" bike has soldered and redrilled damper holes and I plan to "steal" and copy those mods.
