I should get the sheep skin as well. That would make the situation less odd when I start caressing my bike...

That's a very interesting headlight solution, where did you get it?

It helps for the comfort quite a bit on 5+ hour rides. The square leds in the old head light position are the rigid brand, they are spot lights.
The round ones are flood lights and are some cheap china ones. Saved me a few times by catching the shining of deer eyes.

    Hello ghbgator

Thanks a lot for your pictures of the Philippines. I love the RP and I looked at the Dinadiawan resort where it is in the RP:
well it is in Aurora province and for who do not know

I guess you drive from Manila through the mountains sierra madre to Aurora and I was surprized to see such a lot of Husky fans together with BMW and Aprillia.

Hope you could describe your tour and how long you guys took and if you need to do some off road experience.
    Thanks again.

    Regards, ingat, John

I am too curious and looked a little further oninternet and I found this:

Dinadiawan is almost two hours away from Aurora’s capital town, Baler. It is not an easy place to reach since the lone mountain road that leads to it is rough, unpaved and narrow. In contrast to Baler, which is Aurora’s most popular tourist destination, the other parts of the province are remote and desolate, providing visitors with an entirely surreal and different kind of feeling. Many pleasant discoveries can still be experienced and one such place is Dinadiawan which is situated between Luzon’s Sierra Madre Mountain Range & the Pacific Ocean.

    What's that white stuff? :p

I went on a ride yesterday and snapped this picture. It's hard to tell from the picture, but there was a 30' dropoff just to the left of this trail. It was a beautiful view.

I personally recommend Brisk AR10ZS. The are going to be a PITA to install as you'll need a 16mm wrench (and the stock one won't fit), but totally worth it. BTW, Tuscany in June is not necessarily THAT hot.

Here in the Philippines, "Les" (My best mate who lives in Silang, Cavite and is from Australia) and I decided to make a run to Daet in Camarines Norte. It would be a 2 day ride (Feb. 3rd-4th) with me on my Terra and Les on his Kawi EN-6r. It was basically two lane country road for about 550 k's and the balance 60 k's 4 lanes. A good ride except when we had to go thru small crowded towns with many small intersections where I experienced for the first time - the spitting, moaning and stalling at very load speeds - a Real PITA. But just before we left I received my AF-XIED and Pod Filter set. So Next Week will chase the issue. Hope you like the images-But Promise to do much better next ride with the Bike/Bikes, Roads, Scenery etc. Regards, Chris

Hi Link, Your images remind me of my 3 day run from Burbank to San Jose on my (New) 1970 T120 RH Trumpet that I paid Triumph of Burbank $1,348.13 5 days after I got back from RVN. And another 1 day run on my 1983 Katana in 1997. Have the negatives, but don't know where. Ride Safe Everyone. Chris

dmw_az, is this the same area as the previous post with the 30' drop off? I also ride in the Tonto National Forest -- but usually in the Mts north of Superior, south of Picket Post mt. and 4 Peaks. Don't happen to have the Terra with me, but do have a Husaberg FE450 and a DR650 here.

No, this is a different spot about 10 miles away from the 30' dropoff area. It sounds like you have a nice collection of bikes. The Terra does surprisingly well at Wildcat. Most other people have strictly off-road enduro/motocross bikes. I rarely see dual sport or adventure-type bikes there. I only have the means to keep one bike, and I think I picked the right one. Some more aggressive offroad tires sure would be nice though.
