NW Gathering 2013: Oct 24th-27th @China Hat

I should be out there mid day friday. Most the day sat, and some of the AM Sun. Staying in Bend. Fun.

I will be out Thursday ..... and then we are off to the 24 Hours of Starvation (ridge) :-)

Apparently it the day time highs will start to be cooler on Monday:

Yep, its looking sweet in central Oregon and even great weather for those who plan to ride in.

I'm going to try to leave in the morning (Wednesday), camp Wednesday night, run a couple of quick errands in Bend Thursday morning, then be back out to China Hat just afternoon.

And last I talked to the people at Bills/BMP, they are also planning on being out there just afternoon on Thursday.

Best guess on my departure time would be early Sunday morning.

I should be out there riding friday afternoon. Then most the day Saturday. My or may not ride Sunday as I am bringing my wife and daughter and may want to hang out in Bend with them Sunday. See you all soon.

Sounds like maybe a much smaller group this year. But way better weather. Go figure.

The past 2 years we had factory support from HVNA, this year they are not acknowledging the existence of this site.

Love to meet them if that could be arranged...

I think on our end here may have biggest group ever.

I'm not one of the official "Bill's People" but I think Bryon and I are going to be launching one caravan east from Salem early in the 8:00 hour, with several other people en route from this area shortly after.

There is room on my trailer for at least two more bikes if anyone in the greater Salem area needs a haul.

I honestly can't say that I'm shocked to hear that, considering the hate that's been spewed on several threads (guilty of a little of that myself). People must think that "they" don't see all that, too. Saddening.
