I'd love to go but don't have a TR...Unless I can borrow a Strada from a friend. If I can't borrow his Strada would you allow my SM along? Otherwise I too am down for chase/support/shop on wheels (you saw my trailer behind my Explorer at China Hat) duty.
"Start your own TR ride in your neck of the woods. " Not a bad Idea! I'm not sure how, but I wonder if we could develop a map where Terra owners (if inclined) could mark their location with push pins. It might help with organizing group rides. Just a thought.
I would really like to keep it an all TR ride just because thats the focus. Not trying to cut anyone out out was just my initial intention to make this a TR ride and not just a husky ride. I want pictures of 6-15 TR's doing thier thing to make a spectacle of the machine. OK?
Did I make the correct 'corrections' - specifically: is the above what you meant? For the record: There are TR650 Terra's, and there are TR650 Strada's - but they are both TR650's. There is absolutely no way I can make any plans, my schedule is out of my control - but have interest in this trip.
Kelly said earlier that Stradas were included Hmm...now I can't find the comment...is it really only for Terras and not Stradas, Kelly? I can't tell if you edited your own posts or if Coffee edited them for you?
I almost never do that to someone else's posts, for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is that would confuse me even more than I am, and I am already in a state of confusion. I am changing the title of this thread from "NW Terra group ride?" to "NW TR650 group ride?" to reflect that all TR650's are invited.
No that's totally cool, I get it. I'm still down for shop on wheels duty if'n ya want (assuming I don't borrow my buddy's Strada).
No real plans yet, start in portland area and end up in the Mt Adams area. Endless options. Lots of cool stuff to see, lava flows, lakes, mountains, etc.
Pending plans that weekend for the WMRRA races at Shelton, I am in. Not much experience on gravel or dirt (i just seem to explore roads that have gravel in the middle of them), so I will be a newb. Just picked up the Strada and it is a fun bike thus far.
