I'm going to do just that when I rebuild my 449 motor I reckon. Are the pistons any different I wonder?

Piston/gasket wise it appears it's either 449cc or 478cc, no difference between TC/TE/SMR.

Haven't found a rich widow or a winning lotto ticket yet, so I'll leave it to someone else! Would be nice to dump a truckload of money on a bike and pimp it out :D

the compression on the TC in 13:1 not 12:1 like our 511s. Think that's where more of the power is coming from. Anyone have actual dyno numbers from the cam swap? or even seat of the pants feel?

also remember the TC is 13:1 not 12:1. THe more research I do it seems like there are a lot of differences.

Hey Joe, I'm in Mareeba over the weekend where the 3rd round of the QLD Supermoto is happening!
But I would go out there anyway if I was you. Good to watch and you can sort out what's needed so you can go
    Out next time.
Good idea with swapping the box, let's try that one day!

MUCH better than Excel.. Stronger, lighter, and tubeless. Can't go wrong with Alpina STS wheels

Same goes for the Beringers! I started with just swapping to a Beringer cast iron rotor, just by doing that I noticed a difference from the OEM stainless steel. Next plan is 6 piston caliper and MC to complete what is the best brake package available.

well I made the jump and bought a TC449 for all the reasons I stated earlier, I'll let you guys know how it does. Converted it over the past 24 hrs and here is the finished product. Track day tomorrow, time to see how it does compared to my 511. Photo Aug 04, 11 43 06 AM.jpg

so i waited 7 weeks for my arrow to come in from italy. i cant say i am extremely happy with the price, however annoyed with how long it took to come in.

then i threw it up on the shops dyno and tuned the bazzaz i threw on it.
