    Coffee,

Is it possible to change their CH (Senior Member) to (ISDE Member), that's if they agree to it?

What's everyone else's thoughts on this? I think these guys have earned it.

    Thanx!

    Absolutely. :)

There are technical details if the title gets too long. But things like that could be done. In the meantime they could put those types of things in their signature lines if they wanted.

49, big 50 at the end of the year. Racing the 510 SMR this weekend with SMUSA.
First Husky (1972 CR 360?) was given to me in 1982. That bike kicked me over the
bars, Ha HA, carried a tow-rope to get me started. The plan was to have a bad ass pit
bike in the So Cal, Mex, Nev desert racing in Class 3 and 4 with SCORE and HDRA.

Attached is a pic of what sold me on Husqvarna. That 390 ripped..... I have owned 4 and am ridding two at the time. 07 510 SMR, 11 TE 250. 390 Brocher.jpg IMGP0001.JPG TE 250.

Sadly, I can't claim any bragging rights on in this thread.[IMG]

Now....if were some other brand (say....a Japanese brand that starts with the letter "K"[IMG]), I would have a pretty long history!

    Here's my stats...

    First the old man.

Worked for UK Husky importer (Brian Leask) as a GP Mechanic for 4 of the main British GP guys from 1967 till 1982.

Went across to the Husqvarna factory on numerous occasions met with Bror Jaren who was the MX competions manager for Husqvarna. Was Mechanic for Bryan Wade and Graham Noyce. Also prepared engines for Andy Roberton, Vic Eastwood, John Banks. Was lucky enough to mechanic for Heikki Mikkola a couple of times when he came across to race in internationals in the UK in the mid/late 70's.

    Now my Husky resume.

Followed the old man all other the UK and Europe whilst he was mechanicing meeting all the top riders of the day who raced Huskies, Bengt Arberg, Arne Kring, Heikki Mikkola et all. I started racing on a 50cc Suzuki.

Technically I rode my first husky in 1973 although it had a 100cc Zundapp engine. The old man cut down a 125 Husky frame and slotted the Zundapp engine in it as Husky didn't have a 100cc then. I then moved up to racing 125's through the mid/late 70's and was lucky enough to race a full factory 125 for a few British Championship races in 1977 when the British GP rider broke his leg.

1978 I moved up to adult racing on a 250. 1979 saw me flirt with the enemy on a 400 Maico. Then it was back to a 390 Husky for 1980 before switching to a 430 for both 1981 and 1983. In '83 I switched again this time to a Yamaha 490 and had one year and gave up at 22.

I had a short break of 26 years and came back on a 450F suzuki. I switched this year to a 450F Yamaha, but my heart has always been with HUskies and I am searthing the planet for a red tanked 1981 CR 430 to race in the veterans class. So if anyone has one lying about let me know....Steve
