There you go. I thought I overpaid by a few hundred, but looks like I did ok, plus I bought from a top line dealer for service, Long Beach BMW. Would not hesitate to deal with them again. They also gave me my asking price for my trade.
Hi Just paid 4990 euros here in Spain, fantastic deal, was originally looking at CRF250L at 4600 euros.
TERRA ABS: 6290€ in germany two month ago Now you can get them for around 5700€. Thats pretty hot!!! Maybe I get a STRADA as well or a NUDA 900R or both
I rode mine home for $6400 with tax and tags. The good news is that it took the dealer a month to get an MSO from the mothership so he's offering me a smokin' deal on whatever accessories I want.
Just been informed by the dealer that he can't supply my Terra as their are none left in Spain. But I can have the Terra with ABS for 5490 euros, so I went with that.
Pricing doesn't mean a whole lot without a location to go with it. West coasters would love to pay the prices East coasters do, but that will never happen Also, a lot of people are paying $xx99 OTD??? Are there no taxes, registration, set-up or other fees in your areas? Or are people confusing the price that was on the sticker with OTD price? BTW, I paid approx. (within a few dollars) $7200 OTD. Not sure what sticker price was, because it doesn't really matter. this is the price I paid after tax, registration, fees (if any), etc. Where?
This really sounds too good to be true given a sales tax of 8% in Philadelphia, similar to what I'd have to pay in CA. I guess the dealer was really desperate to get rid of it - was it new or a demo bike? I'd be happy to get a Strada for $6800 OTD in CA...
new in crate. its a Ducati dealer and after bmw sold husky i think they wanted to get rid of them. he said there was a 2500 rebate from husky
wow.....i got screwed.....lol i got $99 off msrp on my terra.....so $7650 OTD price......but i got the last one around here........so i guess that counts for something. the dealership still has a strata tho.
Not really sure you got 'screwed', it is a question of timing, location, dealers, etc. Most of which you had no control over. As I previously said:
On that bike it's only a $1000 rebate. I hope he's not sitting around waiting for a check for $2500 from Husky NA. The dealer I got mine from (haven't actually picked up yet) said they hadn't even gotten credit for any of the rebates yet. But I don't have a clue how that's supposed to work so I will not speculate.
at the thime i was in his office when he called and the person on the other line said that the terra was included in the rebate, the have a strada left thats 2000 off
They were part of the rebate that was UP TO $2500 off. The TR650's were only $1k off, this I know for certain. I just paid $6700 for a demo with 600 miles on it but they had added barkbusters, the skidplate, and the off road pegs. My dealer was selling them for $6k but he sold out of them and doesn't know if he will be able to get anymore.
We had 14 Terras show up 2 days before price protection so they missed out we sold all but 1 now left for $6999 OTD. Remember not every bike was price protected {rebate}.It just depends when and how many were bought to get price protection,we also kept our MOSS tool wich has to be cost averaged into profit of every 650 we have sold.We did get protection on some STRADAS wich are discounted $800now at $6799 OTD
$6500 OTD for my new Strada and first bike ever! That's without the tax though and I have to register her myself
