The Tractionator HT was brilliant in the dry but suffered in the wet. Might have well had a rally raid on it. I will take your advice and go a Traculator now that its starting to rain. I have had a Maxis Desert IT on for the last 1000ks and its been great & reversable!! Traculator next!

Heres one of the Masters Games Enduro a couple of weeks ago. (yes i'm an old bastard!)

    Hey all,

Just pick this '09 610SM last weekend. Haven't even got to take it on a proper ride yet.

This bike is alot taller than my lowered DRZ. I'm going to get the seat shaved next week.

Welcome! I think that you will see a big difference between the Husky and the DRZ!

This bike has a story. This used to be my dad's bike. He sold it in 2005 when he got sick and was no longer able to ride. I think he was always a bit nervous about riding the 610's. He was a 410 kind of guy. He bought the bike and never rode it. It sat in the garage for almost 2 years. The guy he sold it to was a super nice guy. I happen to run into him about a month ago and he asked me if I wanted to buy the bike back. So I did. He never rode it. Said he just couldn't get into the bike but he is in the market for a new one. Here she is with only 1,500 kilometers on it.

Sweet deal. That's the kind of item (bike, car, etc) that you just hold on to.

That's cool. What's just as cool as that story is the fact that it's a 2003. 2003's weren't sold in the US so only a handful of them got imported (by special order only). To top it off, you even have the larger tank...which again, was not a standard item for any US bike. If I didn't know better I'd say you stole my bike :p

And to top it all off, I bought my bike last year with only 600km on it :D

I few fuzzy shots in the garage at work with the Blackberry camera. Currently set up in street mode with Shinko 700 tires, X2 headlight, MrEdsMoto seat, 666 peg relocators, BMP case guard, Uptite engine guard. For the dirt I switch to Pirelli FIM Pro tires (DOT knobs)

Oregonsage, that seat looks very good. Did Mr. Ed have you sit on some putty or
something to get a mold of your posterior?

AweSome, those graphics on your SM are just that. Awesome !

No, he had me sit on the seat as he built it.

Very nice! I'd be interested to know what tires you have and the sizes. I'm running Distanzia's, but those look more dirt worthy.

They look like IRC GP-1's or Kenda 270's...

Hey, is that a GiantLoop Bag thrown over a PMB rack with pannier protectors? How is that working out for you? I've been wanting to pull the trigger on the GL, but I don't know if it'll be big enough, and if it isn't I won't be able to use my doggy panniers with it.

I'll post a new thread on the bag and rack combo tomorrow! The tires are Kenda K270's; 5.10 on the back and 4.60 on the front.

    Now that’s a pretty picture

Next time you can make it bigger, I don’t think they charge you extra for it :D
    (Pretty pictures should be big…)
