I sure envy you- great find! Early season I was seriously hunting for a reasonably priced 610- couldn't find one. I didn't want to splurge on a new bike but did as I found a 630 for 6K OTD. Great bike, but would have preferred to have less out of pocket. No regrets, mind you, but gotta say you got a once in a blue moon steal there...you can't get a decent condition '08 DRZ for 1500.
I sure did. I put $300 in it for a new tire, clutch cable and lever, battery, and all new fluids/filters. Man, that oil is expensive I've ridden it around a bit, but Im just more of a light woods bike kind of guy. I'm going to sell it. It's practically brand new so I think I can make some money and still give someone a good deal. I'm thinking $3,500.
That is one wicked lookin' 610. Looks like something right out of a "Mad Max" flick or better yet "Barbwire". I could just imagine riding through the wasteland on that Badboy with sweet Pamela on the back.
Hi Huskyans! here is my BRAND NEW 2000 TE610e Bought it about 2 weeks ago with 3km that funky paint job have to go, it was painted as a promotion tool for this envelop company but never used.. I think I'm going FlatBlack!!
here's a few of my 610. the racks are home made (obviously) with the help of a mate and today i gave it a test fit with my wolfman gear. off to the powdercoater this week. now all i need is somewhere to go!
Nice looking set-up! Nice and simple. Have you used the yellow Wolfman bags yet? If so, how do you like them? They're dry bags, right?
I miss my old 2000 SM610S It had an Uptite exhaust, and the ignition module from some competition model, can't remember which one. Loved the way that bike handled, even if LC4s would walk away from it on a straight.
I just converted my TE610 to SM, which gives me the best of both worlds. My addiction runs deep as I passed it onto my daughter.
The kart track at the I-55 Speedway, just South of Saint Louis. We had about 8 supermoto events there in 2002 and 2003. Those pictures were shot in the spring of 2003. The kart club decided after that year that they wanted to reserve all weekends for their own member activities instead of making it available to rent.
