Glad you got that in before next week, have a damn heat wave coming through mid week, I bet it'll be 110 in those spots this time next week.
Did a run with some local folks from Sacramento, down 49, 108 over the pass ( pic ) up 395 to 4 back over ( and this where my ride ended ). Some asshat decided to run me into oncoming traffic rather than let me pass, my poor Husky is dead, gone, seriously ****ed, it decided it needed to launch an Audi A4 about 3 feet into the air ( this is what I was told, I was sliding down the road and missed it, ) I'm just sore where I landed on my shoulder and me left ankle when my foot contacted the cars bumper. A buddy will be sending me a pic of my bike later. Last ( whole ) pic of my beloved 23,000 mile 610sm I think I'll find another one, I really like the 610. I might try to find a TE so I can score some SM wheels and have two bikes for the price of 1 and a 1/4
As of today I'm doing great, still have to wait for my stitches to come out, have a little discoloration around the ankle ( but no pain or pain killers for that matter ) and my sore shoulder is nothing but a memory now.
Hey Pinepig sorry to hear ... now that you post the whole story! I hope you heal quick - and that the right hand was not injured? (you did kinda ask a rhetorical question )
Got a Leo Vince slip-on a while ago... put a 45 Pilot and 178 Main, did a 300 km test ride to meet a friend for a lunch... Today I had some help from the neighbour, he gave me a piece of aluminum sheet, and I cut it to fit this HID Projector headlight. I had the idea from ADV Rider, someone cut into their plastic reflector housing to install an HID Projector, but my neighbour suggested just mounting the light as is... I do have to seal up the back of it yes... but I think this is a much cleaner look.
A little ride I did recently; chasing my mate on his 990 View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7oe9p9aQXE&list=UUT1xIpv-NH0ZbSByiJqNZkQ&feature=share&index=2

the small support bracket under the rear fender has been beefed up a little, but nothing to the subframe; shouldn't be more than 15 lbs with a couple tools and 1 1/2 gal gas, hopefully it holds up
