One Ricochet skidplate down for the count. I'll try to re-shape it, but have my doubts. I won't be buying another one. While it did what it was supposed to do, it seems to me that the Up-Tite skidplate has better/easier mounting. I don't see how it could deform like this one in the rear. The mounting clamps simply let everything slide to the rear until the skidplate contacted the centerstand tabs and crumpled.

What short brake and clutch levers did you find that fit and what brand are the exhaust protectors ? I have the same Arrow exhaust and will install Acerbis hand guards that may be close to the brake lever as I have read in prior posts. Thanks !
Got the carbon brake protectors on the Husky Special Parts list (ordered by my local dealer). With hindsight, I´d rather have powder coated the original metal heat shields and think they´d have looked even better (and been a lot cheaper). The short Magura levers were a heap of bother and entailed any number of `phone calls to the German Magura head office. Problem was to find a street legal brake lever that activated the brake light. Eventually they found one from an ATV. But I did want to get rid of the Mickey Mouse reservoir on the bar.
Not a problem here are a couple of more photos of the mounts. The mounts are made out of aluminium sorry, cant give you the grade as I picked it up from the scrap bin at work, hence why it mounts only go through the top bolt. The single mount point hasn't been a problem though as I made them to sit in the machined recess where the bolts go through. Also added is a couple of cable guides either side ( from moose racing ) to tidy things up a little as I didn't think one guide was enough for the front brake line. The screen is made out of 3mm perspex and heated in the oven at 140C, (note it is probably best to make sure the primary oven operator is NOT at home during this part of the process). This seems to be a good temperature as the perspex is able to be worked easily however a bit of trial and error is required . For shaping I flared the top up a little using the shape of the oven tray and then bent it in half to follow the line of the light shroud. If required I can make some templates of the mounts and screen just let me know.
At the very tip or end of your Arrow exhaust it appears that you have installed exhaust protectors "sliders". I just ordered the R&G universal fit oval units from Twisted Throttle , should be here Christmas Eve , tomorrow. It just seems like a good investment protector since the Arrows were very expensive. Let me know if these are the same ones you installed. After all of my "extras" are finally installed I hope to post some photos to share with you.
Got them from the UK: www.v2mal.com (Part# EP0005BK). Think I might even need a second pair for better protection.
It's a Lynx fairing from Britannia Composites http://www.britanniacomposites.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=54&Itemid=64
Picture of my 630 before the start of the Longest Day ride here in Australia. Over 1200km between Sunrise and Sunset, bike didn't miss a beat. Even after hitting a Kangaroo at 80 or 90 km's killed the kangaroo but the husky with a bit of tape and ties soldiered on.
I take it that this is a coating and not some kind of dye? Does it crack or peel off? I like the result!
