It's a rubber coating. If you put on 4 to 5 layer it doesn't crack or peef off. It's really strong on the plastics. You can get it in Germany at "Conrad Electronics" -> http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip Plasti Dip is a multi-purpose air dry, specialty rubber coating that can be easily applied by spraying, brushing or dipping. Plasti Dip protective coating products resist moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not become brittle or crack in extreme weather conditions;
Ah man that is a great shot of the LO! Nor Cal Coast (from the marine layer in the back ground)? I like that skid plate! What brand?
Yes, I have one from TE510 (I think - Husky people put it on). Looks basically like 610 - however I have Lynx so looks like 610 with Lynx.
Black rims and new exhaust and it will be even more badass! Here are some pics of my 630 SmS.. Didn't have the money to do any mods on it till now, but some painting seems like a good place to start! Thanks, very nice pics. I note you have the rotopax on the Husky rack. I've just bought the rotopax and also have the Husky rack and it looks as though I need to drill holes in the rack to fit the mounting bracket? Is this what you did? Would it be possible to post a photo of the mount on the rack, ie without the tank? Thanks, Russ
Thanks Sethro, appreciate you taking the time to post the pic. Your setup looks very neat & simple. The reason I was asking is that the mounting system supplied came with a separate base plate to the handle shown in your pic, which looked as though it needed to be screwed into the rack in each of the base plate's four corners. It was looking difficult to line this up on the correct area of the rack given grooves in the rack. I'll just copy your setup, so thanks again. Regards, Russ
