But it really doesn't matter which you drive more of it matters what you want your tire's performance better suited for. I also accept the fact that I ride a lot more street miles getting to the dirt, about 90% street but still want a 80-90% dirt tire. I don't need optimum performance on the street, instead I want a better dirt tire to save my butt from falling a few extra times a day while still being safe on the street. _
I am a knobby guy. Sometimes I run a 50/50 type tire. I can go through a 606 in three or four days. No wallet for that right now. Always compromises...
Thats funny. I'm thinking the exact say way with my SMS but opposite….. I need a 80-90% street tire that can get me through a patch of wet grass or a dirt trail in a pinch.
After many months of forum reading we have just picked up 2 bikes. Rode them 600 miles back from the dealer through all kinds of weather and they were perfect. Thanks Cafe Husky, I am sure we have made the right choice.
You have officially earned a Special Operations Husky Ribbon for riding under EXTREME weather conditions!! HOLY MOLY!!! BTW, Where and When did Touratech start selling the Husky stickers?? How'ed you get those??
Both bikes were bought ex demo. The one with the stickers came from www.touratech.co.uk. I think that they have another set availible.
First camping trip off the Husky. Great weekend and the bike did great. Time to fork out for the Safari tank I'm afraid.
See the orange ones looking at the Husky like it was going to be an easy meal... Didn't quite work out that way. It's always nice at the end of the ride when you are asked "What size motor is that?"
Now we're talking. Love me some baja! Heading that way in roughly a month. I see no camp gear and a stock tank. Any fuel range issues with the stocker 3.2. Planning on bringing my 1.5 kolpin just in case. A person can't post too many baja pics so lets see them.
