You asked for it... The one that started the husky thing for me 93 610 Liked that bike so much I bought my first new husky, a 99 WR250 that turned out to be a great bullet proof bike... Raced the Idaho city ISDE Qualifier on it... Loved the 99 so much i got an 02 which was also a great bike and one of the best WR250's i have rode to this day... In 04 they released the new 4 strokes and I jumped on the bandwagon. Got on 04 TE450, had some valve issues but other than that I had many great rides on this bike... Little later I could not pass up on a deal on a CR125 so i added that. Fun bike but limited in the highly technical steep stuff. Then came the 06 TC250 with the ported head and 300cc kit... Got into DSing a little and aquired a TE570 with a plate (cool bike) Upgraded the 300 to the mighty TXC450... Then upgraded the TE570 to a Te610... and SM wheels... Love them huskys.
Opsie... It's still the best pic of me that I have. How about this one? Almost looks like I'm actually moving. .
Well I also have a ATK and a Honda (and a KX500, and a YZ250 and a XS650 and...) so I'm not completely brand loyal. As you can see motorcycles are worse than crack for me.
I, uh...ahem...was wondering the same thing, Michael Mid-September, you say? Hmm... I guess I'll have to go get myself some Fracture-B-Gone if I want to embarrass myself on those telephone poles... BrokenChick
Dang, and I thought my garage was excessive This was before the SM610 and the LC4 640e came home. Can you count all the motorcycles in there? WoodsChick
Ok..here's the deal. All of you...you KNOW who you... are are invited...yes all those I've ridden with and some of those yet to ride with will be invited. Those of you who offered help on the trail an in life will get double portions! PM's or post will go up when a a date is dialed in..right now everything is about Bonnneville for the next 5 weeks or so. More on that later. Stay tuned.. Oh and Woodschick..I embarrass myself on those telephone poles enough for all of us. When I cackle while placing them with the backhoe you know it's gonna be fun. Oh..there's also a SM flat dirt track set up to slide around on round. Lately the SMR is getting more backyard saddle time than anything.
Heres my girl shortly after purchase, not to many farkles yet. This is her getting ready to get dirty on her first night ride through Big Bear. The addition of a Motosportz damper made a great bike fell even better Gotta have more lights A bit of tail light surgery
It has a 65w halogen main light (I made an adapter to fit a 9007 automotive bulb) and two 55w Hella driving lights. You're bike ( 610) has plenty of alternator output to support the extra lighting. If this is something that you are looking to do with you're bike I can help you get there. The whole set-up is not very expensive. I can help you fab. brackets or if you have those kind of resources available I can walk you through the whole thing and supply pics. ect.
my 08 te/sm 610. yep, i did quite a few years as a cop and traffic homicide. im scared of getting hit at night, hence the stickers, and fog lights ($9)
