Yesterdays ride. West of Stonyford (upper lake) behind Bear creek campground I'm really glad the trials tires are on my bike
Hey Sharpie1, i love the colour format of your bike on the stand in your garage. If i could get decals like that on my 610 i'd be happy... 'cept i cant find aftermarket decals anywhere
The tires are Pirelli MT60's and she loves `em They are very sticky and feel like full-on rains on wet pavement. They excel in everything but mud. They don't hold an edge too well, so no serious berm-busting is gonna happen when running them, but they do what I want them to do on easy dual-sport stuff. They feel like sticky trials tires in the rocks and in stream crossings. They absolutely kick ass on the pavement after airing them up (I only run about 17-19psi off-road) but they disappear before your very eyes, so I only use them when I'm going to be off the pavement. I'll probably post a ride report later today. It was my first ride since destroying my ankle over 3 months ago, so it won't be very exciting or anything, but at least you'll get better photos of the tires WoodsChick
Coffee rides again woooohoooooo Is the front trials tire new to you? What do you think? All my friends laugh at me at the staging area but then the laughing stops when all they see is the rear of my bike for the few seconds they can keep me in sight
LOL Those are the same tires, suspension, and everything else that you rode last fall. Same lowered suspension too. Wondered why you were not putting your 2 cents in when people were asking about trials tires, lowering suspensions, suspension work people and all that. I've been running front and back trials tires for 2 years.
Our man Coffee is back on the trail again!! And fortunate enough to have Woods Chick as a riding partner. Looks like everyone is healing up and hitting the dirt again.
Well, I don't know how fortunate he was It was more like babysitting me on dirt roads than actual dirtriding, but we had a good time nonetheless I'm healed enough to ride easy stuff after moving my shifter up a few notches, but getting off and on the bike is still rather...ungraceful. WoodsChick
It was fun! I'm not riding hard these days at all, and learned the trails/roads in the area much better... I keep getting confused at that water crossing that seems to divide Stony & the Upper Lake areas... someday I'll figure it out
It’s good that you’re back, hope you had good time with Dean Since both of you are recent casualties in the dirt war maybe you can call that report “gimpy ride …” Just kidding, you know I love you both I’m at ease now; the knobby report can’t be too far away… Welcome back Healedchick
