My son and I last weekend.

The 125 is new to us/him and a ton of fun already.

Its pretty cool to have a riding buddy who is always ready to go when I am!

It came with the double chamber forks and the 2010 larger gas tank. Bonus!! The forks have a huge range of adjustability, and once dialed in are super plush, yet still ride high in the travel. I will post a complete ride report soon.

    I half way wondered that.
    Small world.

It looked a lot like the pictures you had of your old bike, but I wasn't sure.

Putting a rear motoz on it this weekend via your store and he and I have been drooling over the other things we'd like to add and do to it.

Its his first 2 stroke and we are loving it.

Thanks for Posting. What a great idea. I have a friend that won't give up on the KX200 but really needs an updated suspension. He blows rear shocks pretty much every race.

Nice work - how does it go ? I had a kdx 200 - back in the day - great bike - I have an article of building a KX 125 for the woods too never seen them combined - good work

The KX-DX goes VERY well--super nimble, and loads of bottom-end. It feels as light as my CR 125 when flicking through tight stuff, but it'll storm out of a slow corner without clutch abuse. I love it.

Unfortunately, I am in the midst of rebuilding the motor--I managed to sieze it on a fire road. I didn't originally rebuild the bottom end, and I think I have an air leak in the main seals. I was hoping to give it its enduro debut at the Broad Mountain Enduro in PA this weekend, but there's no way I'll have it back together in time. Now I'm shooting for the Shotgun Enduro (ha!) June 20.

have you done a writeup on the 07 verses the 09? would be interesting to hear your views on the two bike side by side.
