    Yup. Already had one welded and just noticed the other day that the other one is now cracked too. But like you said, a small flaw for an otherwise great bike. But still annoying

    Thanks. We have been in SLC for about 3 years now and really like it a lot. We are not really "city folks", but work brought us to Utah about 4 years ago. Tons of good riding out here too!

    Yep, avoids conflict with wires and hoses on the handlebars and keeps the tie down below the plastics too.
