Oh yeah, forgot to mention I'll be redirecting that fortune towards parts since I got over my fear of crashing.
Yeah, I think it'll be good. Bone feels fine, but the tissue damage is still hurting. I actually went for a quick spin around the neighborhood yesterday.... sure felt good just to put my leg over a bike and twist the throttle again! I've been working it hard and I will be there. Thanks for asking!
You are traveling in style! We'll be there for a Friday afternoon ride and an all day excursion for Saturday. Do we all want to try to meet up at camp at a certain time Saturday morning? (We're staying in Bend). Looking forward to it!
I only have to drive about 10 miles but bringing the trailer anyways. Got room for one or two others if needed, Someone call dibs if ya want it.
I think a 10am Saturday morning group ride would be great. We can roll the CH train down to the ice caves or the lookout tower if people aren't wanting to do the 60 mile round trip to the caves. I have a mid 90's Chevy RV with a 6x12 enclosed trailer. The RV has a horse racing mural on the side and 'Chevrolet Flyer' badging. Can't miss it! I'll put up paper plates as I drive in showing the way to camp for all those who've never been there. Cell phone coverage is spotty at best out there.
10 am sounds about right since it is likely to be 'brisk' early in the morning. That sounds like a nice ride PC It does look like I have a spot on the MH sofa available and another on the floor if someone is tough enough ... and if need be we can empty the trailer and set up sleeping areas in there, too.
Myself and "CMONOMO"will be up sometime on Thur., so I will be looking for the signs (paper plates). Just ordered ATV tags from Bill so thanks Oregonsage for the info on who to contact, it was fast and painless. Looking forward to it!! Look for a F250 pulling a Carson toyhauler
Back at the junction with Hwy 97 is a cluster of businesses. Gas, Food, Wal-Mart, restaurants, motel .. you name it.
So I read that a trials tire would be ok there, but is that the recomended tire? Yuo guys that ride there a lot, What do you use there? Just dont want to be disapointed due to wrong choice of tire, Thanks.
I really want to make it to this shindig. The other half will not be happy about it as I've been gone for 2 weeks and am still not home. If we can make it a family event there's a better chance of approval. Is the area able to be ridden by novices? Daughter would be on crf150r and wife on a ttr125. Son probably won't ride so he's a wildcard. Would be a Saturday/Sunday event for us do to school and driving distance.
