depending on your age, you might need the lame-azz ohv safety certificate. it's getting gradually phased in.

Tresa and I might be down for this. We've raced china hat numerous times but never had the opportunity to just ride around and play. The proximity of deschutes brewing also influences my decision, although we may be forced to go riding in moab sometime in october as well.

Oh yeah... the Oregon OHV card fiasco.
Anyone under 30 years old is supposed to have one as of 01-01-10. And then 40 years old as of 01-01-11. And so on and so on.

For what its worth I've talked to quite a few law officials since the law passed they were more opposed to it than I was. A few have gone as far to say they will not actively enforce it. They can enforce it, but I've never heard of one instance of that happening. Law enforcement is pretty cool around here IMO.

I take my 3.5 y/o son riding on public land often and the only thing the Sheriff's have asked us is if we're having a good time.

Info regarding it and the test can be found here:
    http://www.rideatvoregon.org/

And WA tags are honored in OR. In fact, I think most any state OHV tag will be honored here.
If not, an OR tag is $10 for 2 years.

Hope you and your better half can make it out there Motospaians!

Can't wait to get there. I will be decompressing heavily. I don't think there is a better way than riding with a bunch of great people and sampling as many different beers as possible in the evenings.

I would love to ride with you guys on Friday too and as we get closer you can let me know where to be and when.

Yeah, I know! I've taken that route on my way to the GPs at Goldendale a few times, and I have a niece that lives in Klamath. It's really pretty through there:thumbsup:

Goldendale is a long haul for you. I complain about the drive from Eugene.

Do you plan to do any GPs there this fall? Now that I have the WR 300 I plan on riding the rest of the season's events up there...or at least those that I have time to get to.

You guys don't know what you're trying to awaken! WoodsChick in race mode is kinda scary. She gets rather...intense.
Still fun to be around, though. She's made the trip to Goldendale a couple of times now...but now she's older and more mature and stuff, so you might have to resort to calling her names and other high end persuasion techniques to get her riled up.
If they DO goad you into it, Tami, let us know far enough in advance that we can make plans. Hey, maybe a 24 hour race at Starvation Ridge instead?

Hey PC - how about updating to first post with place and time to eliminate any confusion on what has been decided? (At least it would eliminate my confusion!)

I haven't ridden in Oregon. Are OHV tags required for out of state plated bikes? A PNW Husky event does sound awesome. 7 or so hours drive for me is doable. Would you guys ride these trail on a 510?
