New toy to play with while the 511 gets fixed (if parts ever show up!)

Little more practical than the 511, much better fit long day rides, just need to register and insure in so I can get out and ride it.

Cline Butte or Four Corners? Either makes for good winter riding most of the time.....looks fun, unlike being bed ridden with the flu!

Four Corners. Wanted to go to Cline but says seasonal closer and not sure if they enforce that. Had a great day. 85 miles of perfect dirt, zero issues and 45 degree weather. Well worth the very long day.

Registered and insured so went for a quick ride. Need to ditch the pillion pegs, they interfere with my sized 47 clod hoppers making me ride pigeon toed. Need to pay with the levers and pedals to get the ergos right.

Big difference, it ain't a motard so I gotta stop riding it like one lol!

I don't get bmw if they marketed the nuda in the states they would have made a pretty penny! Direct competition with the ducati hypermotard and the new yami fz-09

By the time this and starda were ready to go they had already pilled the plug and moved onto scooter manufacturing where the money is. But yes, I totally agree. Many talk about what a POS BMW was but the 449/511, Strada and Nuda could have all been big hits if they stuck it out. As those got thrown away they should have just sold husky to KTM and kept building all of them under BMW name.

Yep. I would have bought one, had it made it here. It didn't, so I went wild and bought a ZX-14R.

This time around, I decided to get something with a few more creature comforts:

I hear the latest generation of 10s are pretty wild!

The stock exhaust is an eyesore and weighs in excess of 40 lbs. Eventually, I'll uncork my 14R with set of Brock's CT duals. I should be able to touch 200HP at the rear wheel.

Rode my new to me TXC today for the first time. Lots of back road cruising, but did find some gravel (and snow that I wasn't expecting to still be around) to play on a bit.

Picked up a local riding tag also (the rubber ducky)
