Nope, didn't come with a kickstand bracket. Would need to do some light fabricating to mount a bracket based on some research I did on the internet.

Well, I used to have a TE, but it was a 2011 630. Photo below was taken on the same road as the recent one with the 2009 TXC 250. Still needed a little assistance from Mother Nature with the kickstand too :). 2011 Husky TE630.jpg

First ride and I'm shocked. So much easier to ride than my WR 250. Awesome power, I should have bought one years ago. Supermoto wheels and tires on their way, as are some real mirrors.

Picked up this 07 TE510 yesterday and got her cleaned up pretty good today. Took it out for a quick pavement run. It is a beast of a motor, lots of power. Bike is in solid shape with only 1100 miles on it. Just put in a Rocky Mountain order so looking forward to some new tires and flushing all the fluids. Should be a fun dual sport bike.

Here's my donna, zero issues. She's my son's now. Just got me an Austrian FX450.

The difference between the two, the FX is lighter, which is weird,
because the 310 is very flickable, feels light; also loves the 0w40 oil. Tried the recommended 10w50, it was hard to start and felt very sluggish. Honestly, heard more noise, maybe it was in my head.
I hate that I have to put a cooling fan on the FX (and other little things), the 310 was ready from the start. txc310.jpg

Put some mud and a couple of hours on the 310 today. Coming off a KTM 380 it was an ... interesting transition. My only gripe is lugability, the 380 will pull stumps out, and with a rekluse it’s basically unstoppable. I stalled the 310 a lot in my first hour of riding, and this is a much more violent event on a 4T I’ve learned. I quickly fell head over heels in love with e-start. This is the best invention since the remote control. The low RPM throttle response is pretty notchy but I’m getting used to it. It’s also geared really low, the 310 with 13/50 feels about the same as my 380 with 12/52. This isn’t a bad thing, just a little unexpected and awkward given the lack of bottom end that I’m used to. Think I’ll throw a 12 up front and see how that feels.

Otherwise, the handling, suspension, flickability, seat height, power delivery, controllability, et al is just beyond belief. Apparently 12 years is enough time to make some major improvements in those areas lol. On the 380 it frequently felt like I was hanging on, just trying to manage the bike. On the 310 I feel like I can hook my heels in and make it do whatever I want, whenever I want. I’m very happy with this thing and really enjoy not being completely smoked after 30 minutes of hard riding. This bike makes me a better rider and at 37 that makes me happy :)

yeah, you got to ride it more like a 125. get a 52 or even better- a 12 tooth counter and you'll be happier.
...except when you want to easy-cruise at 50mph (not happening. And you can go 65, but the bike will be at around 10K rpms)

my gearing is 12-52. I wish for a slightly lower 1st occasionally, but it's close enough. 6th gear sucks.

keep a finger on the clutch when you're lugging.

Nice barn- it looks kinda old?

Yeah, gonna start with a 12 and see how that feels. After that maybe a 52 in back, we’ll see how my middle finger feels haha. It’s workabke right now, but I ride exclusively tight woods and don’t want to burn the clutch out.

    Barn is 1886 :)
