I think its fantastic that someone on the other side of the planet gives me a "heads up" on bike I didn't know was advertised locally
I'd stopped looking because Im trying, yes trying, not to collect more....but now I have the 4T bookends, and air-cooled 1984 TE 510 Twin Shock (pic has it mocked up with a 175CC tank) and a 1989 WC Monoshock TE510

finally pulled my studs off and mounted up my new tusk handguards. i have these "dual layer" guards on my 360, i really like them for the money.

I like the hand guards they take a beating by the brush and tree branches. That visor does too. I've rode visor down many times. Well for a split second.

well, the 360 is tore down waiting for a rod..but there have been plenty of pics of it on here. the 84 240 wr is in boxes, frame needs picked up from painting. i have been gathering quite a few parts for it but dont really talk about it as theres nothing special going on. the 400 is in deep sleep boxed up with all the other spare stuff.

the bike pictured above is really my 250xc bike with a "430 conversion"....the rest of the 87 430 is hanging in the garage attic and the 88 250xc mill is complete sitting in my engine cabinet. im afraid to run it any more hours without a piston, altho it still has great compression.

just a matter of where to put cash, right? the ford in the background has been taking more of my cash than any bike this year.

no, the truck is a "survivor"...has been kept away from salt. its nothing real special. 96 f150, 4.9 big six, 5 speed...ive done a nice electric fan conversion on it, and replaced/updated all sorts of stuff. overhauling the suspension currently...

I hear ya justintendo. The amount I have into my suspension alone on my 88 dodge w250 could've restored two of my bikes probably not including the upcoming cummins swap or auto to manual swap. These things make dirt bike restos feel much easier on the wallet

Update...I think its race ready now..didn't take much...little paint, little plastic, new cables, Progressive series 14 shocks, electronic ignition and new tires..Probably not the right color, not the right tank decal but it will do for me for now...Engine and tranny were reported to be in pretty good shape...First real ride will be this Sunday, first race Mid Ohio?
