I tried something similar and never could get a good rear view picture in them. I love my Highway Dirt Bikes setup, but it's a lot of coin.
Do you actually see anything in them with that location? In my original "bug antennas" the mirrors are mostly filled with my own elbows.
The only thing I´m still looking for is a new gear shift lever that I can get my foot (with boot) under ... and is guaranteed to fit the 630.
You guys may like the Fastway pegs set in the lowboy position. Lots more room for boots. I don't even think twice about being cramped anymore.
Finally got my HDB hand guards on and am happy with the results. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service from this company. Despite not having a regular telephone number for contacting them, they were fast on E-mails when I had questions. Not only did the kit come with an extra set of plastics, extra LEDS, extra bolts, but they also threw in an X-large HDB logo'd T-shirt. The hand guards are much beefier than I had expected, which for me is a good thing. I went with the 2.5" riser for the lower clamp and am glad I did. When I stand up I don't feel like I am leaning over as bad. After a day of riding my lower back felt better as a result. I also noticed that I can see past my elbows in my side mirrors better than I could before. The only con so far is that the bars do vibrate more now. I wasn't expecting this, I had thought there would be less vibration with the way they attach to the top clamp. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has the anti vibration inserts and if they really work. I plan on putting a Powerlet socket in one of the open ports on the top clamp and then a Ram mount for a GPS in the other. Now if I can just get a decent shift lever that is extended for my size 13 foot!
Exactly what I did on mine, I also fitted peg relocators at the same time. I wear Gaerne SG12 size 10 which are a big boot at the toe compared to other boots, had no dramas with this set up
Don´t think I´d like the idea of lowering the pegs but there doesn´t seem to be an after-market solution for the gear shift lever.
Don't need a new lever. This thread gives detail for an adjustable shift lever tip. http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/new-member-and-te630-owner.19163/#post-174751 _
you can see surprisingly well with them mounted like that. I like functional mirrors, and when I picked up this KTM it had flimsy ones that didn't stay put.
I'm thinking about getting taller bars, or maybe a higher bottom clamp. Did you have any problems with cable reach?
Not really, the cables that run beneath the bars for the electrical were a little tight, but I was able to pull some slack out of them without trouble. The other cables for the brake, clutch, throttle were just fine. You know anyone who has the anti vibe inserts for them?
I got the Hammerhead Designs shift tip on my stock shifter lever. This extends the tip of the shifter lever about an inch forward. You have to drill or grind off the stock tip first. I made sure I had a spare Husqavarna shifter lever just in case I fouled it up. After you grind or drill off the rivit for the stock tip, you just need to tap and pry the existing hardware off to remove the stock tip. Then you need to drill the hole one size larger for the tip on the stock lever. The Hammerhead Design tip will need a couple of washers to make up the difference in spacing. You might try using a lock washer because you can bend it to fit the amount of spacing you need. other than that, you are good to go. I just rode 60 miles on it and it is much better if you are encumbered with large boots. The shifter peg actual hits on the boot just perfectly now. I am a size 13 for what it is worth. This is where I bought the shifter tip: http://www.powersportsuperstore.com...hift-Lever-20mm-Tip-p/4179111.htm?Click=35177
I'm running protaper woods high bars with a scotts damper sub mount overall I think it has lifted my bars about 30mm to 35mm, no dramas with cables and a good riding position seated or standing.

Seem to have all the bugs worked out.. 14 tooth sprocket gave the bike some zip..still pulls nice on the highway 100km/h = 4100 rpm **No 4th gear wheelies though ** BRP Guide bolted on as it should and looks to be as good as the TM Design version on my CRF. Fastway handguards were ordered as I like the way they mount... I rotated the stock handle bar mounts to the forward position and it is a bit of a biatch to lock the steering or get the key out, but not a deal breaker for me. Hyde skidplate bolted right up and was the easiest skid plate install/removal I have ever done.. Doesn't resonate like my aluminum ones do and I think it looks good with great coverage.
