    Hacksaw, beltsander and mill :D
Had to shorten the brake lever a bit to clear handguards, and I shortened the clutch lever and notched the front for much better control without pinching fingers.

I've held it up to the bike to see what it would look like and then put it back in the bag. It looks good, but I'm still undecided if that's the direction I want to go. Still considering one of those big trail tech HID headlights, which would change everything.

The tci looks like a good solid setup but I don't care for the looks, that ktm shield looks sharp on the ktms, should look ok on the husky. Wonder how good it would work!?

55w 6000k HID - gives it a 100% better light output and just looks way better than the stock gold headlight 2012-06-02_16-03-40_565.jpg

The TCI plastic was too tall for me visually and created turbulence. I made a shorter version from lexan. You can buy just the brackets for $60.

I bought a ktm 690 enduro screen last week and fitted it yesterday, couldn't be happier :D I've made it so it is adjustable with four bolts and 3 nylock nuts on each bolt. i suppose pictures might be easier

looks awesome IMO, much better than just the white cowl up front
When i first put it on the wind had moved from the bottom of my chest to just under my helmet, ive adjusted it so the wind goes further up (but haven't ridden it that way yet.
It's just tall enough to be effective and just short enough not to look ugly.

Yeah looks very nice - screen looks very similar to the one available for the 950S ? Did you use the existing holes on the screen and did you use stand-away spacers to get that angle? (I spaced my BMW Dakar screen to get space for laminar flow and the correct angle).

edit: the 950s screen looks smaller, on page 14 of this thread joiseyjanet posted a picture of one.
i did use the original holes in the screen but drilled holes in my 630 cowl. to get the adjustable angle i used a combination of nylock nuts and washers in the sequence: bolt, washer, screen, nut,(space),nut, washer, cowl, washer, nut.
you can see it in the top photo. i bought four m5x40 stainless bolts and 12 m5 nylock nuts for the mounting, if anyone is interested in mounting one of these i can copy a template for drilling the holes and the bits and pieces needed for mounting it how I did it.

maxyb - please can you measure the height from centre of headlight cutout to top od screen and also the width across the screen at upper holes. Metric cool. Interested in how size compares with my Dakar screen Thanks.

This. The bolts are just to hold it on to bleed the caliper etc, they're not the final articles. The eagle-eyed among you will spot something(s) unusual.

Besides the caliper relocator and the 6-bolt rotor? Please tell me you're not using that rotor with only two bolts countersunk.....

No I'll countersink the other two holes before "proper" use. The standard TE bolts aren't up to it anyway, the disc is 4 mil.

    There's something you've missed
