For a pic, you could try going to that outside berm, picking a time where that inside rider can not go by ya on the inside, but get to the berm carrying plenty of speed before you reach it, probably in 4th gear, throttle has got to be set at least 3\4 throttle \ pinned (we are racing), press downward on that inside bar as you reach the berm, left foot can be up by the number plate or on the peg, and control the speed of the bike via feathering the clutch lever (not the throttle... A.K.A Do Not left off) ... You will look and sound and feel like you are in heaven having sex ... You'll be on the cover of the Rolling Stone maybe ... What bike are you riding? WP is a good example ... Dirt bike moves work most places there is dirt ...
My son Ryan at the 2015 Funky Chicken Hare Scramble National. He had never ridden anything that hard before. He finished and placed 12th in his class.
Workin my way to "A" this year...finally.... Couple pics from this season so far. Dogtown 50 Hare Scramble in WV. Slippin by on the inside line after some carnage on the start. RORR Hare Scramble in PA Tri County Hare Scramble in NJ GMER Dogtown 50 Hare Scramble in WV
How was that race? I had a scheduling conflict and couldn't make it (even more sucky since Boyers is only like 45 mins away)
sol, won't give you too much info cause you gonna be upset...it was sweet. K5, didn't know you were running the series this year, great pictures and good luck. I actually came out of retirement and ran Dogtown. Put my report here in 'Racing"...hope to run into you at the shop or the races.
Always liked it out in the woods, walking, hunting, ... ... All those racing pics in the woods look ESP good to me ...
I saw you and Andy at Dogtown. Good for you! He did well even with a flat haha. See you guys soon. Coming to Tough Like RORR? Im running it. I doubt I'll make it to top 50 for day two but Im gonna try haha!
That was a tough event this year with all the dust and the chop in the trees My son did his 1st adult race there this year. BTW Great Picture
Going to be at the Tough like RORR event at least. Dragging a buddy with, although he is kicking and screaming about it
I agree - every time I go on vacation or a road trip, I find myself always looking at the forest or woods I'm driving through wondering if there are any trails out there. My wife can't stand traveling with me!
My son at a local MX track event during our Mid-Summer Hare Scramble schedule break. He got 2nd in the A class (3-2 finishes). Pretty good for no saddle time (since first of June) and on a bike set-up for woods . IMHO
