Anthill Classic xc yesterday. Normally we get two laps on a 26km course in the two hours. A tornado ripped up a bunch of the course last week so they cut out 4 km. this resulted in many riders, including me doing 3 laps (66km). Leading the 1st and 2nd lap, I decided not to gas but back off and conserve a bit of fuel as I wasn't sure I would make it. 10 km in to the last lap the second place rider passed me so the game was on. The 144 excels in the tight stuff and that is where I caught him and pressured him till he pulled over. Then I checked out. Finished first. That is him behind me in the photo. What a fun day of racing!
Did my first time keeping enduro last weekend. Waiting at the start It was a bit dusty, but the trails were good and the weather was decent. I had a guy on my row racing in B-200 who was keeping time and apparently he was pretty decent at it, as it helped get me my first win.
nice work chef plate hanging off & all! trails look nice gots a sol. why do people run their brake line on outside of fork guard unless motarding? looks like trouble to me
Lol. Hit a tree in the first 5km. The plate hung there the whole race. It amused a lot of people....lots of pointing!
Chef, we had that no number plate look only once, and that was enough. I pulled him in and cut the brake line holder piece to take it off during the race. Very distracting at best and really not safe.... Drill a hole in the back fins of the number plate and loosely zip tie it to the forks. I made an aluminum bracket to rivet in place of the plastic bracket at the top that broke. Good luck.
No pit crew to bring me in and cut the holder. Couldn't afford the time either. So that is where it stayed. I'll likely try one of your solutions... Zip ties should hold. Thanks Edit: fished the number plate out of the trash and zip tied it on. Worked great. Thanks for the tip!
Weekend double header xc in eastern Ontario. Tough, rocky and technical. Decided to race smart and ended with a second and third which clinched the championship with one race left in the series.
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggBDf-lH0LI This is Rd 7 of the national hare and hound race I turned the gopro on at the start then turned it off about 3 miles into the race. At about mile 30 I hit a tree branch real hard I heard the gopro go beep beep so I said did it go on, well I am not going to stop and check so I go another 3 hours before the battery died. Got almost all the race less about 5 miles before the finish I want to thank the guys from Factory Husky and Leon from Factory WP suspention who did my pit stops. Nice when the big factory team finds the time to help out the private guy

BOSTON MOUNTAIN AXC "FREEDOM BOWL" CROSS COUNTRY RACE Nice & dusty race - got second in the Masters Class - My Son ran the AXC1 class - but did not have a very good day - but he finished (intact)
Jofa is an old school mouth guard and it doesn't look like he Is. Part of his modern helmet most likely...
Ah, ok. Funny, I actually had an open face helmet with a faceguard that included goggles. That helmet is a Kali Protectives Shiva. The lightest production MX helmet available right now with all the ratings like DOT.
Not your typical racing picture. Afternoon race after I did the morning, that's me in the maroon shirt...At least I not just hanging around like old orange shirt. Couple of turns after the start of a local hare scramble; all I could see was hot pipes and bodies. Hey at least I got my hands on a husky!. I think the guy on the ground belonged to 132, and everyone rode away...
