I'm getting along far better with the 4cs forks than I expected after reading all the negative rants about how bad and dangerous they were. At just a skosh over 200lbs w/gear it's definitely under sprung for me, so I know there are gains to be had for my old slow self. Despite the cost I'm still tempted to send them off to Factory Conn in NH and get the treatment that, according to my dealer, turns them into the best forks he has ever ridden. Regardless, they haven't scared or spit me off yet.

Mine were never bad until higher speeds. Mine were also oversprung for my body weight though. I went down one spring so that might have something to do with it. In real slow technical stuff they weren't to bad. 20 mph and up though and they were pretty sketchy. ZIPTY took care of it though. Good to hear not everyone had problems with them though

My scooter is so new have not had a chance to go ride it yet other than my 2 acres at home.

Will take it out to the cabin/woods soon and see what the suspension is like. And then
start tweakin'. Would rather not drop some more coin just yet!

My 09 WR300 Marzokes were junk! The seals leaked within 6 months right on schedule, just like
many of them did....and would deflect big time at the most unpredictable times. Even when
I didn't notice a sharp edge, tree root etc...........a good size rock at high speed could get your
    heart pounding.

Mmmmm, I think you will be wearing significantly more than 3-5KG of gear unless, you ride in speedos, flip-flops and sunglasses!!! ;) I weigh 85KG, and 102KG with gear on.
