Got ya. I already cut the rod need to go a tish shorter. weird riding style I do not use my front brakes clutch pull just sucks. Feels like and old cable hodaka with no maintenance! May have to switch to rubber mount triple clamp seems it would be better for my wrists. first enduro of season next weekend. We will see if my plastic shows up after almost a month,....

I would check the slave cylinder, maybe the o-rings have been replaced with the wrong size, or the piston sticks to the bore, it should be smooth!

I'll have to try that never had one apart before and sure this one has never been touched bike only had 16 hours on it when I got it and the original owner said it felt like cable clutch from day one. Problem without having a spare bike is I'm afraid to mess anything up with a race next weekend. having a he of a time getting a handguard to work at all as well with the old school straight out master cylinder and straight clutch. Put mounts on back words etc. Doesn't help bars cut down to 28 7/8 of and inch. I'm also worried about the stock impeller and can not seem to find anyone that knows anything about and aluminum replacement. the plastic issue is upsetting but life at this point see no reason why I would be switching brands any time soon. May try to put some seat time on a beta to see what I think. seen a new husky/KTM and will try to ride one soon but that dude smacked a tree Nd folded the rim so may be little bit.

That guy from Michigan said he toasted the motor at like 7 hrs because of a failed impeller. That design flaw does worry me!

Wouldn't concern about the plastic impeller, that person was just plain unlucky haven't ever heard of a engine failing because of it (mind you the engine isn't new and there are lots of it).

I'm with.you but.have heard.of.more then one failure. Would not be fun to.drive five hours one way then dnf and burn down your engine as well! One thing about the Italian husky design and the gasser is they are.bullet proof with no issues but your probably right a rare cause but.I'll try.to get the aluminum impeller anyways. Thanks much!

Thanks. not sure hope we find out. Not sure what is up have not seen my new plastic yet but was told that with shipping and a 15% discount it is 420$$$ omg gold plated or what? Ha ha my wife said I should ride a yz or a KTM. Sounds like if we ever get divorced she's gonna date someone who rides a KTM just for spite. Lol. but yea 420$ with no decals???? Plastic will not happen very often I'll tell u that. I see Pete has a 13 250 Tm MX for sale. My advice is not to ride one cause if you do you will have to.have one!!! Took 4 ounces of oil out of each fork leg. Set shock preload went 3 clicks softer on shock high speed. cut more off of bolt to get pedal lower. Bleeding brakes. Got hand guards mounted better. Should be ready to race Sunday,.........

Nope, rode one, don't have to have it. Nice bike though :) BTW doesn't a bunch of that plastic cross over from other bikes or did they stop doing that?

Nope all Tm as far as I can tell. And sure just kidding what works for one guy may not work for another. pretty confident I can ride this bike faster then my 150 husky just wish I were I'm better shape. Believe I truly would have made double a a couple years ago had I been on a light 250. I make to many mistakes riding a small bore!

Regarding the 2 map ignition on the 144, it does make quite a difference (at least on the EN version). Map 1 is pretty aggressive, and Map 2 is much tamer, at least from my perspective. The 144 actually has a pretty beefy mid-range, with a modest (but almost stall-proof bottom end), and a classic screamer TM top end.

Yes plastic is very expensive even here in Europe (about 225euro), it's because racetech is the only plastic supplier for TM and they are made in low batches (the molds are very expensive).
Thinking about it, it could be cheaper if you imported the plastic yourself, it is however very difficult to get in contact with the TM factory.

My mapswitch on my EN300 and MX250 doesn't actually seam to work, sometimes I think it does work but it could be a placebo effect...

Dayum your 250 is lighter than the husky 125!!

Did the newer huskys gain weight since 04? My 04 is listed at 197 or 199 or something crazy. Or is mine heavier than they advertised? I was always curious the real world weight of my husky vs 250f and such.

Spoke with Pete V.He has zero fail trend on the plastic coolant impeller, we all know everything can fail. And in this case do we even know how many hours were on the bike, coolant type, etc etc. He said he keeps the seal parts that is the normal use fail point the water pump seal.

Funny thing is darn plastic still hasn't shown up yet lol. Guess I'll race in cognito with another guys name on my bike lol. Sweet 216 pounds!!! Yea feels light ! Power may be aggressive but sure is fun. Have not been working out or riding much so not expecting to pull off any major upsets or anything on Sunday but will make and effort! No beer three days before and hydrating right now.now that is dedication!! Lol

Doooood- RynoPower........hydrate for days and preload with endurance (yellow)pills and protein and Carb powder mix.... load on race day with green/yellow/whites with mucho carb drink light on protein. yellow endurance formula is endless oxygen in the bloodsteam super low fatigue factor- just go go go energizer bunny like. green is a basic caffein type jump up jump around boost and whites are super good electrolites for no muscle cramp and good nerve communication. Not a salesman....just know that the stuff works like a big dog poops. after ride/race dose on post workout formula and have little to no muscle soreness post event, can add some for pre ride as well.

Sounds like serious stuff may by I can drink beer if I get some of that. On a serious note I'll have to research that. I live in the sticks where u can barely find a protein bar! Must be nearing the end of my racing as I'm just not to serious at the moment. My prediction no glory this weekend and I'll be lucky to pull a top 20 overall finish as I have not been running like I was two and three years ago. 50 will be here next year and my knees both of them are giving out. I am excited at the same time having extra power and torque on tap and a total race inspired chassis that I feel I can trust as well as and xlite chassis! My carbs consist of pasta the night before and Sunday morning I have my coffee and a banana and during resets a power bar. With the hard clutch pull I should have been doing my hand squeezers to. Small fuel tank alarms me and feels reminiscent of a 09 husky 125. A quart strapped to the bike and gas at resets and optionals. Sounds crazy but I quit drinking water while racing. Added weight and u have to momentarily let off the gas to grab drink hose. One race I even raced without a chest protecter and really liked it as you get older you look for ways to make up for other things. But felt safety was more important then the weight and inconvenience of a chest protector. PS. I cut the previous owners name off the custom decals. Looking to have fun and finish and to bad I'm not 50 I could sandbag super senior real easy!!!lol

Calorie wise sure, but theres a reason alot of top riders do alot of cycling. Cycling you can do longer than running typically which gives you time to build uo your heart and lungs and get into fat burning for more than a minute. You can always try to find more hills and/or do sprints on the bike to up the intensisty, im just getting into cycling for these benefits, ive got bad ankles and on good days i can run no issues but bad days after workng 12 hours theres like 10% chance ill be able to force myself through the limping and crying to try tp run lol. Bicycle even seems to loosen every thing up you know. Oh well my random thoughts for today.

And your tm's make me drool!!!
