Production of the Pulstar SE2HT will begin mid-october.
Bought new set of ngk's yesterday, gapped to 0.61 and cured my pinging.
Interestingly the gap on the old set was 0.9 to 1 only, but was enough to cause pinging, unless they were rooted. (28k klm)

I'm doing a WayneC and running mine waaaayyy past their intended service life, just to see how long they last. I have a spare set of the JE2RT, probably the last in existence, in waiting.
Looking forward to the new version so I can try them in my Triumphs.
I'm still pretty impressed and have a much greater understanding and respect for capacitors.

I just checked with Pulstar on an update for the je2rt8 replacement. Here is what Lou said "it has been replaced with the se2t. And we have 2 normal heat range: se1t and te1t. The se1t is an iso spec as is the se2t. the te1t is the same length as the je2rt8"

I'm not super knowledgeable about spark plugs yet, can anyone weigh in on which might be the best for the TR650?

I just read the first 8 pages of this thread, decided I’m definitely doing the plugs now, and I’ll likely do the injector in a year when it’s due for a valve check…

Then I learn they don’t make the pulstar plugs anymore???

I see there are ‘some options’ for alternatives. Is there a general consensus as to the best option we have available?

best option imho is to have the latest ECU update, a proper adaption reset and rebuild and leave the rest stock. No stalling and surging and more than enough power for what the bike is. I had a bad experience with the original Pulstar plugs.

Hello, I now this is an old post but I will leave this note to help someone else. I purchased the booster plug and it sorted out my intermittent stalling. I am not sure if my bike had the "recall patch" as I am the 4th owner.

If it is stalling, then the ECU has not been updated, assuming the injector & filtration system is OK.
Can be checked with Husqvarna or KTM in person, phone, text or email.
Eventually the ecu will tune out the booster plug as the long term measurements are taken from oxygen sensor in the exhaust. Welcome to the Booster Plug gathering dust on a shelf club.

Before you do anything, go to the trouble of removing & cleaning the Idle Control Valve, then connect the bike to Moss or ISTA system for a re-calibration of the ICV and resetting of the adaptations.
It's a bit of work to get to it but worth getting acquainted with how the bike goes together (and comes apart!!!).

As Johnn has stated the BMS-E ECU will trim out the BoosterPlug as it will any of the snake oil Spoofer devices, find someone with a red GS911 & have them run an AutoScan the details in it will tell precisely which firmware versions are in the Dash/BMS-E & any other ECUs fitted to the bike, ensure a copy of the AutoScan is saved/emailed to post here for people to explain the contents

I had the same issue with the stalling at low RPM, I purchased the booster plug and it sorted out my intermittent stalling. I am not sure if my bike had the "recall patch" or not, I am the 4th owner. My Terra has since never skipped a beat.
