No but since I'm getting the 144 kit I think I send the carb out now while I'm waiting. I'll give RB a call on Monday and see if they evn do the stock carbs.

    John,

You are going to want to try the carb before the 144 install. That way, you will see the low end improvement with the carb alone.

Yep! Eric got his TMX done, and they even cut the slide for free, and he's loving it. He's only ridden it once since he got it back, but he says he can now ride it effectively in the lower RPM's. As a clue to how happy he is with it, this was the first ride on his WR that I did not hear him utter the words "Well, it ain't no GasGas..." The Husky had very big shoes to fill and for the first time Eric had a huge smile on his face after riding it [IMG]

We're going to throw it on my 144 at some point and see how it goes, although I am really happy with the way my 144 is running right now with Walt's old Keihin on it.

Old thread, but I just had RB do the PWK on my 2012 WR144. It's amazing. Bike came with the TMX. Didn't like it. Had RB do his mods to the TMX... better, but not happy. Finally put a leftover KTM Air Striker on the 144... even better. Then did the full RB thing and it's just crazy how nicely this bike runs.

John01 did you get the carb mods and 144 kit done. I have 2013 CR125 thinking of gettin the 38mm air Stryker with RB mods and then put a 144 kit on.

No I ended up running a 144 kit for a short time then went on to the WB165 with a Smart Carb; great combo. We did send my sons 2011 TM 250MX head and carb to RB and it was WAY WAY better than sock and we were able to run straight 93 gas. Ron does excellent work and a more than fair price.

John01, What did you think of the 144 over the 125?

I liked it. It had just a little more power every where over the 125. I'm 200 pounds so every little bit helps pull all this muscle around . The WB165 was just so good if I had to do it over I'd for sure skip the 144 and go straight to the 165. Saying that I'd skip a 125 too for a 144 if the 165 wasn't an option.
