Personally I'm gettin kinda tired of people asking me if it's a Honda, saying nice Honda, is that a new CRF? or some variation thereof.

I do enjoy the comically confused look on their face when I say no, it's a Husk Var Naaa though...

Here is what automotive paint looks like on plastic. These parts were well scuffed, gouged and had to be wet sanded and repainted since they were in such bad shape. Warning this ain't a Husky.

I'd have to say that's the nicest $700 DRZ I've ever seen

How did the painted plastics hold up?

    Sorry for jacking this thread.

The plastics have held up very well. They had to be sanded and painted twice because the scratches were so bad. Another set is out right now being painted yellow for a "change of clothes".

Yes 700 bucks. It was one of those Saturday night Criagslist deals. The guy had just got a new computer with internet and wanted to see if he could sell something on C-list.

Here is the bike when I first got it (and washed it).

no worries about the jacking but well i kinda solved my problems............so i was riding and well i ripped the rear fender and taillight assembly off not good at all. the bracket that holds it on broke and i dont think the subframe is messed up which is good. anyway so all this happened before i could paint it so its not all bad. so right now i found someone who can order the plastics and am getting prices. im not buying yet ima wait as long as i can till these plastics are beat. new plastics bigger gas tank (love woodschicks tank) and new stainless steel bolts coming soon. will post pics once its all done. btw does anyone know where to buy all new "body hardwear" ?
