got one of my buddies to come out to the track with his bike last friday. he hadnt ridden in a couple years and was stoked. hes still sore lol i told him not to overdue it but he was havin too much fun. always better riding with friends and hes alot faster so it helps on the learning lines etc. also ive been riding on the balls of my feet more lately....still kinda weird feeling but also you can tell it helps ya
Because of professional affiliation and his record of diet, fitness and speed I recommend the Ryno program. http://rynoinstitute.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYSvRm4sWfY http://www.racerxonline.com/2011/02/23/racer-x-films-ryan-hughes
To quote a former pro flatracker friend of mine...."Hold the throttle wide open until you see God, then back off a little" Hope this helps.........
i was told in the corners to put alot of force on the outside peg, and to not lean over so much like a street bike would turn. it seems to be helping the bike hook up in the flat corners better.
What do you do in the case of a left hand turn that needs braking at the same time you need to weight the outside peg on the brake pedal side?
i guess just make sure your foot is back on the peg enough so you dotn put all the weight on the brake lever, its soemthing ive been workin with the last week or so. also i try to get all the braking out of the way by the time i get to the corners if i can help it.
throttle control is definately key...i had a semi kamikazze moment last night commin out of one of the corners thank god nobody was riding next to me...was leavin one wheel candy canes off the track then back on the track, i was just hangin on for a sec
