My TM Designworks Skid Plate is in as well as my Obie link guard. Time for some plastic fab- attach the Obie to the TMD and install the entire assembly onto the TE300. Also will need to have a look at the brake snake and how it will integrate into the skid plate. The TMD comes up high around the engine cases.

Watch those fork bleeders. Many of them leak and you can hear them breathing when the suspension moves which is not good as it messes up the suspension and also lets dirt and water in. I like the functionality and convenience but find myself using them less and less do to issues.

My last pair had one pissing and hissing, they may need a re-engineering effort and make the seal and spring more robust.
I never mentioned it to motion pro maybe a quick informative note to them can get them to know and see if a fail trend is going on so they can take action. If they dont know....all is well.

I have a pair of KTM and Motion Pro bleeders, that I've yet to install. I'm torn like Kelly.... The convenience would be nice, especially as my Flexx Bars and ICO make it tough to access the screws, but I've seen bleeders leak. On the other hand... Friend lost a class win at an ECEA Enduro, when he dropped a bleeder screw in the dirt, at a gas stop and took 20 minutes to find it!

PS I was riding my TE310 on the MX track a while ago and kept hearing a weird noise.....one of my bleeders completely came out, talk about a suck and blow noise with associated oil splatter. That could not be blamed on the bleeder. I have since used lock tight on them.

did you find the fmf pipe setup worthwhile? When you changed your pipe did you need to change any jets at all? I know you got the JD kit just curious if it still jets like a stock bike.

same jet spec for FMF gnarley/turbine core2 as oem. I just want the most low end low rev torque from this machine......sorry to say it 4T like power with 2T like weight and response. Truth is I never rode the bike with the oem pipe/silencer. Also gnarly pipe is heavy gauge steel to ward off rock hits as much as possible.

I massaged my 02 CR250 husky to make 3 stroke power. Is amazing how well it pulls everywhere. My KTM350 ridding buddy was in love with it last ride and was not eager to give it back and kept asking to ride it more. No reason you can't tune that sucker to be smooth and pull like crazy.

Happy time with mr. obie suspension link add on. I got my TMD skid plate, I already had my obie guad. i orderd the obie guard with the 2 holes drilled in it not the slotted one for the oem style skid plate. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rear mount piece on the TMD skid plate had the same hole pattern as the obie guard. i unscrewed the rear clip assy from the tmd skid plate layed the obie in place and reattached the mount "hook" assy. the obie guard is mounted perfectly onto the TMD skid plate. the whole assy went on cleanly and good. I did need to dremel a little plastic of the plate to clear my brake snake mount bracket on the frame side. the only issue I have my own...I have already bent pipe a little so it touches the skid plate on the left side at the pipe u turn spot, the pipe did spring back some but it has a dent where it hit the bike frame ..thank you hammerdown and tractor racing tecate hardcore rides!!

"Robert order the OLG-KTM250300-12-KA1 It's for the Aluminum skid plates and some other brands. It has 2 small holes instead of the cut out, thanks"

I quit using the fork bleeders a while back. Not only can they leak I got a vine wrapped around my bars & it snapped the bleeder off inside the fork. Bummer
I carry a tool pack, it has a screwdriver. If I feel the need to bleed them a buddy can hold the front end up on the kickstand & I can turn the screw.

Im still not settled on who is going to do my suspension, I need to re-spring for my weight and I think a revalve to work with the heavier springs is a must. OEM settings are super good and she did the job for those 2 ugly Tecate rides I did, but my sag is way off.

It seems that Kreft has the WP 4CS forks pretty well dialed. Lots of good feedback on KTM Talk.

Thats whats happening to me right now I want to stay very local as a cost savings measure and to support local, not to "dis" any others. Ive used the original Factory , Ca. FC., LTR, ZipTy, Racetech and even Ferracci before.
We now have one of the core Race Tech R&D guru's down here in east SD, by one local AMA hall famers, confidential reccomendation, who knows and has worked with him, the guy is solid and can give a factory quality ride with local/ easy access for tuning and re-tuning

More stuff while out on injured reserve, used scary fast intake splitter in the txc450, really liked the bottom end boost from the splitter....so i just ordered a fmf snap device p/n 018200 of course husky is not listed....but ktm250/300xc is same so i went for it. looking for 3 stroke power for my style and my most popular choice of terrain and race locations. As usual bike set up is very personal. Just need to be at my best on this machine.
